Been on the side line for some time. Contract comes to a end and due an upgrade. Seen some really good deals and came across this. I know there has been some deals posted but this seems the cheapest.

Unlimited minutes, unlimited text, 2gb data

Not much data but the cheapest I could find.

So the mobile, new, retails for £579 from Google. This deal comes to £591.75. Works out you’re paying £12.76/24 = 53p per month for the unlimited minutes, texts and 2GB data. Not a bad deal at all. Unless my maths is off.

2gb of data is a bit stingy for £23 a month.

Yeah, I see you pointed it out already. Agreed, then

Looks like a good deal with 2gb data and unlimited everything else! Hot!

Also, there's an extra £10 off with code DEALENVY10 which brings it down to £591.76.

I struggle with 8GB but good if you don't require data then heat! 🔥

I'm with three mobile and used 22 gb a month.
This deal has been around for a week and a half... And was posted before... Possible may have expired and restarted... Was also code VC15OFF to get £15 upfront cost.

Yeh I'm waiting on a good Deal also
Great deal if you can get by on 2gb data. Hot 🔥
You can ring EE up and upgrade your tariff, I rang them up and got an extra 5gb for £7 extra pm, plus you can go back to your original tariff any time you choose with no charge.

The Pixel 2 XL uses an LG display which is inferior to the Samsung AMOLED display used on the Pixel 2, so I bought a Pixel 2 but I do find it a bit small coming from a Sony XZ which had a slightly bigger screen, ah well it's the first Android phone I've ever had where there is no lag and it works as I'd always hoped Android would work, extremely impressed with it and the camera in the best so far on any phone. I can't wait to see what the Pixel 3 will be like now, anyway I will keep this phone for a couple of years as long as it still performs like it does now. It makes the Sony XZ I bought this year seem hopeless in comparison.

Thanks for your feedback... Not sure I would get on with a 5 inch screen but im tempted at this price. Will give it a few days and see what comes up... Still loving my nexus 6p even though the battery is shocking. Might look for a local repairer to swap it out.

2gb of Data.... It's a Smartphone ...it's all about the Data and 2gb is rubbish.... They will be recouping their Low Price for the Deal with the Extra Data Costs you will be paying....

Your Maths is Not Bad it's the lack of Data that's Poor...

Everyone says this but the only way I can think people use so much data is if they never connect to wifi when it's available. And wifi is available basically everywhere now - supermarkets, public transport, gyms, basically most places anyone would go. The only time that comes to mind that I don't have wifi is when I'm literally walking outside. 2GB is definitely enough if you're smart with it.

That all depends on your lifestyle. I for one use no more than 100mb per month. I have wifi at home and wifi at work. In between I am driving. This deal would be great for me but after using a 5.5" screen for the last two and a half years I am not going smaller. Voted hot though as it looks to be a decent phone. Just looking at replacing my 2.5 year old LG G4 and after buying the S7 Edge for the wife for Christmas I did say to her if she doesn't like it then I will keep it and buy her something else. After setting up the S7 Edge for her I was hoping she DID like it because I decided I prefer my G4. Nothing against the S7 really, it is a nice phone but I prefer the wider screen of the G4, not keen on the curves of the screen and prefer the LG keyboard for messaging.

Agreed, I have a contract for 20gb a month, must only use 2 - 4gb max. I download things off Netflix, iPlayer and Google play music etc, for offline use. So all I use is a bit of browsing, YouTube and WhatsApp. I could definitely stick to 2gb to bring costs down.

Wouldn't you need to contact mobiles.co.uk instead of ee directly for that?

Any deals on the pixel xl 2?

I have hunted high and low. Nothing worth shouting about

It's not "definitely enough". I use my phone to stream radio stations or Spotify playlists when I'm driving. Wifi can't replace that.

Plus, public Wifi is usually really slow and painful to use. What's the point of having a super fast phone if it's throttled by a rubbish connection? 4g data is usually really fast.

That's the only case where Wi-Fi absolutely can't replace 4G - live streaming.

Public Wi-Fi aside, other than the odd delayed train or something I'm generally not in a place that I can/would watch a bunch of YouTube videos or whatever, and not have good Wi-Fi.

Not streaming, just general browsing. If I'm shopping I'll sometimes try and check other prices online. Few times I've tried to do this on store/shopping centre wifi due to no signal, it's been painful

As far as I know that is a Google Promo that runs till the 31st. So theres a decent chance.

True and same but remember we are talking about 2GB data, not no data Most data will be used on streaming and if you're not live streaming you can get away with a lot less.

I know what you mean, that's probably not a great example to be honest. My biggest issue would be not having the freedom to stream whatever I want when I drive or use bus/train. Just looked at my usage for the last couple of months, 12.64 last month and 19.98 this month. I don't stream video so most of that will be music on the go.

I could probably cut down to around 6 with a bit of planning (downloading Spotify playlists/BBC iPlayer content etc) but I don't think I could drop to 2. Just gonna have to wait for a better deal.
