So considering these phones new are £519 at carphone, then I reckon this is an outstanding deal from the sister company of carphone.
At a total cost of £587.

Refurbished phone, basically new, see below for specifics.

£35.00 upfront

4GB data
Unlimited mins
Unlimited texts

£23 per month

(There also a 1gb on the same page for a total of £507 total cost that one is £18 per month with £79 upfront.)

A refurbished phone is a handset that has been purchased and then returned to us. These are mostly change-of-mind situations whereby a phone is returned within the cooling off period. In other cases, a phone may be returned due to a technical fault, and then repaired by expert technicians to ensure its fit for resale.

You might be wary of ordering a refurbished phone, but there’s no need to worry. Our stock is provided directly from mobile manufacturers, who have expertly inspected the goods to ensure they’re in top working order. This gives you peace of mind, as well as great savings.

As well as being kind on your wallet, ordering a refurbished phone is also great news for the environment. With components being re-used, this means less of an environmental footprint than a newly-manufactured phone.

Can get a factory fresh Pixel 2 XL for £500 but it involes taking out, then cancelling an O2 contact. Not my thing, but I can see the attraction.
Also TCB.

Yes i posted that exact deal, but not everyone wants to go that route, hence why I post deals like this one.

I respect that, so many people vote cold based non no headphone jack, no NFC etc. Etc. Its good to see someone basing a vote on whether its a good deal or not, I do that myself personally, but you can't tell everyone, so thanks for the confidence there are other people like me in this community.

The way I look at it is, sell the phone on eBay for £400-£450, then you have a contract for 24 months, working out at essentially £6 per month for a 4gb data plan.
587-450=137
137/24=5.7
Do you get warranty with this phone ?

Excellent, it really is a good deal, especially as they are just treated as new handsets.. Enjoy.

Minus the 10% ebay fees (£40-45), plus the £8 to post it with insured delivery, and that's IF you get that much for it - and it becomes a much less appealing prospect.

I think the deal as it stands isn't bad though, as a way to spread the cost.

I always sell my phones when there are £1 selling fees promotions on like today for example, so that wipes out the £40-£45.
£7.25 for royal mail special delivery, and they are selling for between £400 and maybe £480 at a push brand new, which this will be because you wouldn't break the seal (well I wouldn't anyway)
Does anyone have some experience with cancellation policies from them? I got this deal but there is a new one with p20 pro and headphones. They say in they reurn policy that cancellation and return canot be done if the sim has been activated. Is this even legal? I thought that every contract singed up online has 14 days cooling off period.
