Grade C. Nope
Key bits:

  • Grade C
  • Average Condition, signs of wear
  • Generic Box, Handset Only
  • No accessories Supplied
  • Sim Free and Unlocked to all networks
  • 90 days warranty (extended warranty available)

Can't imagine grade C is particularly nice.
Grade C normally has scratches on the screen and back. Still a great price for this phone. Hot!
Worth a punt, few of us got grade B's that came with a pristine screen and handset plus accessories despite the same key bits as the above, and you can always return...

Good find but point to consider, you can't pay with PayPal on their website. Peace of mind ordering on eBay I'd say.

Versus the better protection of using a credit card?

Use your credit card with PayPal. You get triple protection (assuming you don't know about the third one).
1. PayPal
2. Section 75
3. Chargeback (Google for info)

If you'd like credit card protection when you pay with PayPal then make sure you don't add funds to your PayPal wallet. Instead make the payment by just selecting the card.

Unfortunately, Section 75 mostly doesn't apply if purchase made via PayPal:

Read my comment above or read the article carefully again.
It won't apply if you use your card to add funds to your PayPal wallet first because that will be counted as your card transaction and then purchase will be from that wallet. Whereas if you don't add funds to your PayPal wallet, and at time of purchase just select your credit card then you are covered under section 75.

Thanks for that, good saving on the website and 2% TCB too. Went for the grade C, the price differences are quite a bit between grades and a phone is to be used, it's going to get scratched anyway!

They also have the Pixel (1st gen) XL 32GB in grade B for £199.97 which is a great price too.
I got a Grade A for £370 delivered the week before Christmas. Absolutely in love with the phone, after upgrading from a OnePlus One. (Big forehead and chin don't bother me, but might deter potential thieves since it looks a tad naff with a case on... Paranoia? Probably!)

With that said, I'd have hated to have paid full RRP for it. As incredible as the camera is (and it's fantastic), phone prices are starting to get a bit bonkers.

Any opinions on what has a better camera at this price? Providing the grade C is not to scratched of course.

I think they keep on mispricing the Pixel 2 XL's. I ordered on Friday night a Grade B Pixel 2 XL 64Gb for £349, which seems a good price. But nothing on there decent price today. Best keep on checking back on the website.

Nothing! Has a better camera at this price, your looking at a p20 pro which is debatable anyway.

Could well be the case! I know they often up the prices of their Chromebooks when a deal gets popular on here.
Thought I would update everyone. Ordered a grade C Pixel 2 64GB on the weekend, standard delivery, arrived today (earlier than they said).

It is nearly immaculate! It had a faint scratch on the screen (not deep enough to feel or see in use) and came with the original box and accessories!

Also had a Pixel XL 32GB (1st gen) in grade B, also fully boxed, also nearly immaculate.

No idea how they grade but very pleased on first impressions. My only criticism would be them trying to force a 12-month warranty on me, telling me I only had 3-months, I gently pointed out that under Consumer Rights Act, I have 6 months at least but let’s hope it’s an unnecessary concern.

£249.97 + £3.95 Click and Collect (shared that with the Pixel XL though).

Your phone is probably covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. I had a problem with my Pixel 2 from Appliances Direct via eBay. I've returned it to Google and they've sent me a replacement.

Yes, I agree, it looks near new and only launched, what, 6 months ago? Appliances Direct would have me believe it only has 3 months warranty but unless they explicitly voided the warranty I can't see why it would.

What went wrong with yours?

As with many others, mine came boxed with accessories. Some small scratches on screen, but not noticeable in normal use.

Really pleased with the phone so far. Nice and fast and a great camera.

what phone did you come from? I like the idea of having a google device which i believe is guaranteed the next 3 android updates? just not sure if it's a bit dated looking. Also i'm used to a bigger screen (though not as big/bulky as the pixel xl).
what's battery life like? as its quite a bit smaller than other devices

Came from a Sony Xperia XZ so I obviously don't mind about dated looking phones. I always keep mine in a case so looks go out the window as soon as you do that. Battery has been good so far, plenty left at the end of the day, though I don't do much more than casual browsing, email and skype - being at work all day.

I've had android phones since day 1, so far this has been the best experience. How the 64GB memory will last I'm not quite sure.
