I have a Pixel 2 the battery is now pretty ropey, good luck if you get a good one, I want to smash the phone everytime it voltage drops and reboots, but I'm clinging on until March when 2019 phones will all massively drop in price, then it's bargain time. Trust me though if you get one with a duff battery like in mine it ain't worth £107. I have hammered mine, the performance has dropped off as well, used to be well fast but now it's just potato average. I started hating my phone about 2 months ago but I knew I had to cling on to get the bargains. This is an XL though so battery issue probably won't be as bad, performance isn't all that anymore though.

It's 2020 so buy a new phone already

2019 phones will be cheaper, that's the clue ^ If you need more hints : In March lots of 2020 phones are released rendering 2019 phones less desirable and therefore the prices will drop more especially and that's where the word bargains comes in to play. So whilst it's 2020 I don't have to buy a 2020 released phone, I can buy a new or used 2019 phone cheaper.

Cracking use of 'potato'.
I have a Pixel 2 XL. The battery isn't so much of an issue. Even with the number of apps I have on this phone (making use of smartphones as how it should be lol), the battery lasts me the whole day with 20-30% remaining on a working day. Have the day that I feel the phone is slower. The reboot time is definitely slow. Before I used to boast that the screen would load up within 10Seconds of turning on. Definitely an amazing phone imo. The Xiaomi mi 10 pro looks tasty though. Might decide to switch later this year.

I have the 2XL and my battery isn't amazing but it's had daily hammer for 2 years and held up well. Bluetooth and AOD are the main things that drain mine, usually see about 3%/h drop. Performance is still excellent.

I think the battery issues only apply to the Pixel 2 and not Pixel 2 XL. As the Pixel 2 has a 2700mah battery and the Pixel 2 XL has a 3520mah battery.
Great price. Traded my 2 XL 128GB in only last week for £141. Still a very good phone.
I'd prefer easily replaceable batteries over water resistance. It's scandalous to charge so much money for new phones when the battery will virtually make the handset obsolete in a couple of years. Laptops costing half the price are usable for up to a decade. Crooks!

I had the same when I bought my pixel 2 a few months ago but I contacted Google and they replaced it on warranty with a refurb without any proof of purchase or anything. I would say get one and if it's duff just get Google to replace it under warrenty. Heat
Would not mind buying this but everyone's comment on battery life puts me off
Cracking price bud

What bargain are you planning on getting?
I bought a new Pixel 3XL from amazon for 260£, the pixel 2 is a little bit old

Don't they ask you for anything else like where you purchased it from and stuff?
Out of stock now
Anymore like these anywhere else? if it's got 12 month warranty it's worth a shot right?
In our household we have 3 pixels - 2XL, 3 and 4XL. All of them are amazing and the camera alone on the 2XL is worth it 100£ imo. Haven't noticed performance issues and the battery is aging as expected but still lasts a whole day without an issue. The software is clean, the display is pretty good and the design of the phone is sleek. We are all happy with our pixels so id definitely recommend it!

I have looked for months. I keep changing my mind, but Realme X2 Pro has excellent specs, although bit worried about recent reports of it getting bricked with Android 10 update. I really like what Sony have done with their 21:9 ratio phones, the Xperia 5 I've held one of those and it's just such a brilliant form factor, the fingerprint reader is supposed to be more than hopeless so that's kind of a disaster, but it's a very cheap phone now used. I'm staying with Android even though it's exceptionally poor for photography apps, which is my main bugbear with Android.

me and my gf have had pixel 2 and xl since launch and its still going strong, both battery and performance wise. and we've never even reset it to factory settings or anything. phone also never resets or reboots. never stutters. never broke or caused any problems. first time i can say this about a phone in the last 10 years. clearly you're either unlucky or you're doing something wrong. worth adding that we don't install any games or dodgy apps apart from essentials. have you rooted your phone before? because I'm pretty sure doing so broke my last phone without any root apps or mods on top of it.

As I have hammered the phone, it has suffered detrimental battery performance. I had to remove Facebook (brilliant idea) and a few other apps as it was lagging so badly. The phone physically looks like a relic, it looks hugely out of date, the screen has always been abysmal. The photography is very good, however it's very inflexible now in comparison to the competition. The main lag I get now is rendering video to full screen, that intermittent jump to full screen is really jarring. I've had enough of this phone, it did its job well, but definitely over rated. Was great in the first year I had it but yeah it's no match for phones that currently exist. For this money and you have a good battery life then it performs really well. There's £100 phones now with way better screens than on this phone.

I won't buy another Pixel based on the experience I've had with this phone unless Google work some insane magic for the Pixel 5. I can't see Google managing that at all. The competition is just too good now and getting better all the time. If Android ever gets the 3rd party photography app support that IOS has then it's game over on Android for the Pixel line. Average hardware with excellent photography. Judging by just how bad the Pixel 4 is I hope Google just give up now and stick to making software.
The Stock Must Go Pixel 2 XL Lucky Dip.

Came today, ones going back, scratch on screen, and dodgy charging port, can hardly see the scratch when its on though.

The other, bit of a crack on rear camera glass panel, not that bad, put some tape on it and a bumper case ive had from previous P2's.

Cant grumble really.
