Do you think this phone is a worthy upgrade over an iPhone 7?
It's still £629 in CPW and can be cheaper when purchased with SIM. Plus £50 TCB

Yes.
I think you do get better Warranty support and replacement with Google.
Maybe worth the extra £70.00

still far far to expensive as its £589 on CPW as others have said.
I've been following it since Xmas and on EE it was £99 upfront and £38 a month for 5gb ish in Jan.

Feb it went up to £260 upfront and £38 for the same

Mar it is £100 upfront and £54 a month for 1GB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with this from the point of view that this is far too expensive at the moment. Even with potentially better warranty support from Google this isn't worth this price. Just my humble opinion
£604 with an 02 1 month sim at Carphone Wharehouse.

Yep, agreed, unless someone really needs a new phone.
Thats where a inexpensive spare comes in handy.

Defo prefer getting direct from Google and paying extra for better warranty and service. However I bought this phone at launch and returned within 14 days due to battery charging issue and it was already getting burn in. Reading forums it would appear issues are not getting resolved so despite really liking this phone I would still not recommend it

yeah exactly my lad wants one as his 6p is playing up (battery life) and his contract ran out in Feb. not buying it at this price though, keep that 30 day rolling one going until it gets decent

My work colleague bought a new battery for his 6p and a local phone store fitted it for £15.

LIkely with a one month sim only contract which you then cancel before the 14 day cooling off period expires. You keep the phone.

Of course, but pixel 2 xl has problems. Google will replace phone if you have any. I know they gave for free pixel xl for nexus 6p users because of bootloops and battery problems.

I think someone mentioned something about TCB. Not sure if it applies though.

Purchased my 6P directly from Google in October 2015
I had the same battery issue (having to charge twice during the day).
I contacted Google support in august last year to report the issue, so they sent me a new Pixel Xl (1 not 2) to replace my 6P.....
That was only for customers who purchased directly from Google however.
I'll most likely purchase the Pixel 4 next year directly from Google as the after care and support beats any type of phone insurance!

If your service provider stocks this phone hotukdeals.com/dea…e=2 , with a 2 year manfacturers warranty included looks ideal.

My 6P has gone on the fritz with recent bootlooping and battery issues. It has also not seen a security patch since November, despite multiple factory restores. I'm arranging warranty options today. It'll be interesting to see if the go with the Pixel as the replacement. I'll report back.

Just so you know, Google are acting up with regards to this. Despite their limited warranty information noting that they will replace your phone with one with at least the same functionality, Google store support is offering me nothing more than a refund. I'll let you know if this changes.
