Wow, great deal! Say you were spending £5 a month on a similar sim only contract at the moment, that would effectively bring the cost of the handset down to £410 (£400 with a possible £10 cashback through quidco) Cracking price. Heat given
Is there a sim free deal on google pixel 3 anywhere? I know this mobile was £639 until jan, but now it shows 739£ for 64gb and I am waiting for the deal to be back :-/
Anything similar ok the XL yet?

You want this phone for £639 SIM free? But the total cost of this deal is <£530! Why not just get this and use whatever SIM you want?
If you were to terminate the contract with ID, this might work out cheaper (don't hold me to this).

ID Mobile appear to say that the early termination fee is charged as the remaining contract minus VAT.

So, would you just cancel the new contract with ID in this case? Just wondering about the logistics of making a deal like this work as effectively Sim Free with that price you quote. TIA

The reason is that I am from abroad and not sure when I would be going back. So don’t want to get into any contracts.

That is interesting, can I cancel it as soon as I get the mobile? I’d check with ID customer care then.

You can 100% cancel the contract immediately and pay it off (if it will work out cheaper I can't say for sure). You may have issues with how long they take to produce the final bill, and the general advice is to keep the direct debt open after that just in case. So depends how long you are going to be in the country really

This logic only works if you already have a sim only contract which is comparable to the monthly allowance you get with this deal: Personally I'd be happy enough with 1 GB a month + data rollover so I wouldn't cancel the contract and I'd cancel the hypothetical £5/month sim only contract I'm on currently (I'm actually on a £6/month with 1.5 GB but that's not the point). Over the duration of the plan (24 months) the £5 sim only contract would cost £5 x 24 = £120, but the Pixel 3 contract comes with 1 GB data a month so I don't need a sim only contract anymore, thus I can cancel it. If I didn't get the Pixel 3 contract I would pay £120 for my sim only contract over two years but with the Pixel 3 contract I don't pay anything separately so, effectively, for the handset, I'm paying £530 take away the £120 I would be spending on a sim only contract (which equals £410). Hopefully this isn't too convoluted!

Pretty good price taking into account the price of the phone, but pretty unusable contract for some.

That's quite useful, the £19.99 per month would be inclusive of VAT. So the cancellation charge should be £16.66 x 24 months....making the total cost of the phone around £450. Just wondering what sort of effect it would have on the credit score.
I think I'm gonna get this and leave their sim in a drawer somewhere once I've registered the phone.

Currently on a SIMO deal with Vodafone including Spotify, and this is a Pixel 3 for well under current retail price. My S8 is showing it's age and has nasty screen burn (which is to be fixed under warranty soon). This is a great deal in my eyes for £20 a month.

Like me then I'm with Three and have a good deal. So was just going to pack the sim away.
Thank you! I was just about to hit "BUY" on the £24.99 a month deal and had a last second look on HUKD and it saved me as always.

I also have a SIM only deal from Vodafone currently and this is the cheapest way to purchase the phone that I can find!
Closest I got was with CPW who offered a 30 day rolling contract for around £614 so this is a nice saving!

Thanks!

Good spot just added it to the post
Thanks OP, just what I was looking for and I'll be saving £10 per month compared to my old contract that I gave notice on last weekend. Was gutted to miss the recent Pixel 3 £0/£28 per month deal but this (for my needs anyway) is even better.

Bit of a debate between the black and the white but have gone with the black in the end - will end up putting a case/skin on it anyway.

Me too! I wonder if they would ask you to wait till the cooling off period is over before you can pay the early termination charge. Hopefully someone who has already activated their contract can get this info from customer services.
This is a fab deal OP, heat should be thousand degrees by now
Thanks. All in good time I guess

So do you have to enter the sim into the phone first before putting in your other sim?

Saw this deal the other day and thought about it. Like you I have a good EE sim but this works out the cheapest way to buy the phone. I pay £14 for 10GB EE max plan, and need the additional roaming benefits and use BT sports. No deal could get close to this on a max plan.

The £20 voucher code pushed me over to ordering! Essentially £29.99 upfront and £33.99per month

I'm trying to give my OH the sim so she doesn't have to pay for her £7.50 GiffGaff sim, but she can't be bothered with the hassle! Might just give it to another family member...
blimey - great deal. OI need a cheap sim for my youngest so this is an ideal way for me to grab a pixel 3! Are the gestures that bad?

Apparently you need to send a text or make a call on the new SIM to register it/activate the warranty. Then you can put your existing SIM in.

Hope you got one in time.Yeah price has gone up now.
great phone - only issue i can find is the battery isn't the best, but I read it will improve with time as the phone uses techniology to learn your habits etc.
