How bad is a grade C? is it bad enough not to get accepted to UNI?

Probably bad enough to keep you back a year
Cheers. Really wanted one in black but white will do.

Bought just to use as a storage device, hope it doesn't die

This is the joys of ebay

Any idea what it's like when it comes to replacing the battery on these? I imagine the original will be hopeless!
Does anyone know what the closest comparable oneplus would be?

I'm on a oneplus5t which I would assume is above the pixel 1 but if similar it would do nicely as a spare for games.

It has a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4gb ram, 32gb or 128gb storage and was released in 2016. 1080p screen, not the best battery size, but fast charging. Also has the best phone camera of its day, just pipping the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to the post, so really good.

You might want to double check all that. Just had a skim read through a review.

OnePlus 3T is the closest in terms of spec.

It's happened to me. I went for an untracked postage option (stupidly) as I was selling a PS4 game worth no more than £20.
I reckon the buyer spotted this and had me over. Neither eBay or PayPal protect sellers if you don't have proof of delivery. I had proof of postage, but it wasn't enough. Never again!

MrSwitch need some advice again,

Could you recommend a UK fast charger for my Mi 9 lite (Amazon if possible), The one they supplied is a bit Meh, nearly 3 hrs from 4% to full, Or is that reasonable?, I was expecting a bit more if I'm honest being fast charging

I love everything about the phone which you kindly recommended so any advice would be gratefully appreciated

Thank you

Most not all. I was never a big seller and all small value so the cost of tracking just didn't make sense. Your right most these days are tracked but wasn't always this way, no doubt it's the people playing these cons on private sellers and businesses that didn't used to track that probably encouraged people to switch to tracking and signatures.

Hehe cheers mate. I was thinking it was around S7 sort of spec which is ideal for a spare. Any older than that I think I would notice. Was also tempted for a pixel 3 refurb and then my 5t could be spare xd

That's bad speed. That's more like traditional 2amp charging which is a fair standard spec for most devices these days that don't have fast charge.

I'm no expert but just based off experience 3 hours surely can't be acceptable as 'fast charge'

I can get 100% on my oneplus5t 4000mah battery in an hour. I would say due to the age of the battery you would see decreased charging performance so might be worth looking at a swap out which is a cheap way to improve a phone massively!

I know, it's putting me off the phone to the extent I'm thinking about sending it back, I brought it "new" as described, I have messaged the seller who refuses to respond no matter how many messages I've sent

I still have a 30 days return on it.

Really bad experience with this seller....

eBay favours buyers and screws over sellers. You are immediately in a strong position. If unhappy then I suggest contacting eBay team, I think the solution they would advise is they would retrieve funds back through PayPal (if that's how you paid) and you would just send item back to seller. They will always give seller time to respond and deal with the issues once you submit a case but after that they would side with you.

I would suggest checking that the cable is official and perhaps trying a different one. My phone does not reach the same speeds on a 3rd party cable even when on the official plug. It is also worth downloading a charging speed app, it will show you current draw and if this is within expected specs.

What most sellers don't know is even basic postage has proof of delivery now - that 2D barcode is actually trackable. Also if the buyer reports it as missing, you can file for loss with Royal Mail.

Force an eBay return within 30 days, you will win. As @ManMang0 says, eBay favours buyers.

If I hadn't just bought a Pocophone, I would have jumped at the £48 Pixel.

Coming from mid range, even at 4 years old it would have been an upgrade. And that camera still blows most current phone snappers out of the water in 2020!

That doesn't sound right, the mi 9 lite supports quick charge, so an QC 3, or QC 4 adapter will do. So something like the two linked below should be faster than what you're currently getting
