Google Pixel 32GB Silver grade A, locked to EE £425.00 @ CEX

Was looking for a Google Pixel and Carphone Warehouse had sold out, so visited CEX. They had a Grade A, e.g. Brand New, locked to EE for only £425.00 (RRP £599.00). Phone has all accessories, brand new and cannot find any marks / scratches on phone. Excellent value for a great phone. :-)

If you are not on EE, you will have great difficulties on getting it unlocked.

What happened to this being unlocked everywhere? Google really screwed the pooch on more than just the price, there's a lot of issues with the phone that Google have ignored for over 2 months, can't recommend the phone to anyone until they sort it out.

I guess it's like with iPhones, some companies say that they lock to the network of the first sim inserted into it, despite the ones from apple etc not being

I got told that the EE pixel can't be locked to it, unsure of how true that is.

Remember when Google made their phones value for money?

overpriced and over hyped phone

Google phones can't be locked anyway

Good luck with it. Having no receipt, you will be turned down.

I just purchased a Samsung S7 for £288 new and unlocked due to a listing on HUKD so compared to that deal this sucks

ive got a pixel after ditching my s7...makes the latter look like a 3310...minus the benefit of snake.

How come I've been struggling to unlock my iPhone on ee? Free unlocking, yeah right.

Not with the Pixel at the minute. The unlocking system for these is like iPhone, but only with EE currently.

They'll unlock them after 6 months of ownership, and may charge. With an EE locked Pixel someone buys elsewhere, they'll not process the unlock until at least May 2017, and even then if it's a 2nd hand phone, they likely won't do the unlock either.
