I got £32.90 credit from my Black Friday purchase.

Google One tip - earn 3% / 10% back in Google Store credit

You can subscribe to Google One and get 3% back on the £2.49 plan or 10% back on the £7.99 plan. Just remember that this credit will be added 30 days after purchase, so you may end up paying for two months of Google One

As an example, going by the £599 price for the Pixel 4 64GB on the £7.99 plan with 10% back, that's £59.90 credit earned for £15.98 based on two Google One payments (a £43.92 profit). Google One can be paid for using Google Play credit including any you've stacked up from Google Opinion Rewards

Remember to cancel your subscription from renewing when you receive the credit!
Good price for what you get. I would have liked to see more of a discount than Black Friday, if they're getting rid of stocks.

The 4a is potentially a few months away, personally I can wait; if you need a new device right away, you can't go wrong with this.

I have a pixel 3a XL, battery life is amazing, camera is amazing and phone actually runs very well. Ove had a mate 20 pro, p20 pro and a 3xl before this and I look the 3a XL the best
How much of an improvement would this be over a Pixel 2 XL? Been looking for a deal on a Pixel 3 XL 128 but nothing has materialised.
Great smart phone. Highly recommended!
Interested in the 3a for a nanosecond until I read no microsd slot. Wtf? Who would buy that? Obviously after the apple market share...

I bought it and I've never used an apple device. 64gb is fine for my needs. Most stuff stored on the cloud anyway. It's a great little phone with an amazing camera. Theyy being said I'd still wait for the pixel 4a.

Are you one of these people who still uses CD's and DVD's? I've got a 64Gb phone and use it heavily for photos and videos and not once have I run out of storage. Photos are safer in the cloud than on removable media
Price is also matched at Carphone Warehouse.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right.... Until the next major data breach. Personally I like to be able to control this stuff, sure, store in the cloud as well, but certainly not unencrypted. Oh and it's a plural, CDs, DVDs.

I'm sure it's great but there is just no excuse for the lack of expandable memory on a premium phone. Just a stupid tactic to get you to buy the model with more (overpriced) memory in it and relieve you of the flexibility. Apple style.
Personally I rather get the phone anywhere aside from Google Store. I've just come out a horrible customer service experience whereby I returned my Pixel 4 and its taken them 2 months to refund my money and without any compensation.

Just be ready to invoke your credit card rights if you have any problem dealing with Google and want to return it for a refund.
And just for balance I had a Pixel 3 before I upgraded to the Pixel 4, so I was quite pro-Google and pro-Pixel but the experience has left a really bad impression with me, so although I want back a P3a, not sure I want to give Google my money.
I didn't go the for the BF deal so at this point I think I'll wait to see what the Pixel 4a will bring.

I got the missus the 3a on BF and it's a superb phone. The camera, especially night sight, is outstanding considering the price bracket.

I'm thinking if getting the 3a XL for myself at £70 off plus the £32.90 store credit from the 3a

I'd like to hear what your issues were with the 4

Well it was the smaller one, so no 1 problem was the 2800mah battery and it really is that bad. Should have went with the 4XL. SOLI was a gmmick, and because the fingerprint sensor was replaced by the facial unlock, a lot of the banking apps and GPay just wasnt working as well with it.

Personally my unit had a build quality issue (the banding around the phone, the paint was falling off) and I sent it back. For a phone costing £769, the QC really isnt that great.

I had a completely opposite experience with Google, when my pixel c tablet developed a fault just before the warranty was about to expire I sent it back to them and I had a refund the day after they received it

I wish I had the same! I really do. I appreciate that different people have different experiences.
Also matched price with Argos now.

Ahh. Yeah mainly the small battery and no fingerprint sensor resulted in me deciding the 3a would be a better option. Good to hear someone confirming.
Picked up the 3a XL from Argos on Friday and they had a special offer of a £20 SIM with 45Gb of data for free. Very nice phone so far, everything just works. Previous phone was a Nokia 8 and I got a bit hung up comparing the specs, watching YouTube comparisons etc.before purchase to see if this would actually be a downgrade from the Nokia, but very impressed with the Pixel. Rear fingerprint scanner much better, camera obviously better, battery life appears very good too, although the charging us probably a bit slower compared to the Nokia. No regrets so far.

Had this phone since launch. Came from the original Pixel XL. Pretty much the same but smaller bezels, better performance, better in every way and the perfect size for me! Would buy this again if I lost it without question.
Bit the bullet and ordered the 3aXL. £70 off and £32.90 off from my previous Google store credit and £39.90 store credit coming in 30 days. Just need to sell my Blue Xiaomi Mi A2 now which has been a great phone.

It looks like this discounted price is permanent now on the Google store.
