Pixel 4a will be out in a month at around £399 so could be worth waiting.

Good, but good enough price?

That depends obviously on your budget. Brilliant phone, excellent service from GStore

Fair point but for some people (myself included) £299 is at the upper limit of their budget so this is still a good option.

Last year the pixel3a came with a free Chromebook (albeit at £399) so I am holding off for now. Can't see the price staying this high with other sellers.
Picked up a pixel 3 128GB from chitter chatter for £330 thanks to here. Also work looking around for deals on those (it was not pink but I actually like it!)

I think it'll be more than that.

It's probably not as good as a 3a. I have found on both my 3 and 4XL you have to use it for a few weeks and was getting about an extra hour on each respectively. According to accuBattery I get 5 hours screen on time (and I've been using that since install). I mean crazy thing is even my iPhone 8+ and Note 9 only get about that (when new at full resolution). I think we have been spoiled by the P30 and new iPhones 11. I don't compare to lower powered chips like the 3a or to higher refresh rates as that's no fair. In my case I wanted a small phone with decent storage with a great camera and up to date software (my Note has 512GB and iPhone 256GB so no way manage 64GB). If you want a smaller phone with flagship specs basically a pixel or iPhone. If you want amazing battery life iPhone. However you could buy 3 pixel 3 128GB for 1 iPhone 11 Pro 256GB nowadays!

I bought the 3a for my missis and I've got to admit it's a nice little phone, my only gripe is the 64gb storage. Each new version of Android is getting bigger with its file size, add the apps that are pre installed and the ones you install and that's about 20gb of that gone. I can manage with that but I've got to comprise by only putting some of my music on the phone storage but if I wanted to use it how I wanted them it probably wouldn't be enough. Phones really need to be 128gb minimum to suit most people's needs

Yep I'm thinking £450-£469 at launch maybe with something bundled in.

This has been shown in so many places but it's literally made up by a guy who just guessed! He said so when releasing it! Be interesting to see what UK gets charged as all tech prices are $ usually but very few manufacturers stick to it and just change that to £ (not counting VAT or American taxes). Samsung used to be the one exception. It's tough to predict with £ to $ ATM.
It's going to be scrapped. By the time they do release it will be severely outdated. Save yourself the money and get something else with gcam. Same thing really.
