Nice one heat added
Seems EE devalues phones because they don't like unlocking them.

Possibly, I can't say for sure myself as I've not had a phone contract with EE before (just a SIM only for a year) - for anyone on EE this may be a good deal though
Nice. Reduced again, I predict £190 by end of next week. Heat added Andrew.

Cheers MrSwitch
Anyone got any experience (good or bad) with getting one of these unlocked?
What about android updates in phones locked on ee? They come normal or later or even not come? Thanks.

The reason they devalue is they can't be unlocked for 6 months after purchase date. Then it costs £8.99 to unlock.

Absolutely nothing to do with the carrier with respect to this phone, the updates come from Google. EE has zero bearing on updates in other words.

I cant speak for all scenarios but I unlocked an EE contract iPhone at the end of my contract and now use it on Vodafone. Had no issues with that at all

Why do they 'not like it' any more than another network? EE are as good at unlocking as everyone else in my experience, just have to add on about £9 for them to do so.
ee unlock direct for 8.99 non customers
was keeping an eye on one of these but managed to get a mint pixel 3 on ebay for £230 with 1yr google warrantly

I ended buying 3. returning the first two.
1 had a screen replacement and possibly front camera replacement too.
The second had so many blemishes on the screen it was unbelievable.
3rd one is mint, advertised as unlocked but arrived locked to ee. Seller is currently unlocking for me.
230, 199 and 230 were the prices paid.

I think with the 4a on the horizon I’m hoping the Pixel 3 May drop to £300 new by the summer
Did anyone order one of these? Would like to know the condition
