As you know, saving my cash for premium Pixel 3/xl... decided to give myself a deadline till October

Will squeeze 2xl till then, supplemented by similar-feeling Nokia 9
I went with this phone and I absolutely love it, it's just so nice to use. If anyone isn't sure I highly recommend it

I'm in a similar position. Love my 2xl, but being a bit strange on calls, can't always get the screen to wake up again during and after a call, so keeping my eye out on a replacement, also updates maybe ending this year. Watching for a deal on a 3, but worry about support ending only a year after the 2.

1st world dilemmas! Reason for my October deadline is support will end then for 2xl; I won't stop using it, only will take out sim, uninstall banking apps and will keep it as backup for browsing at night, playing media etc just what my 1st gen XL is doing right now, navigation & gestures so smooth make it a great browser

Will be happy with just 1 year support for 3/xl, I'll use it intensively and probably get tired after 1 year...key is finding a good deal, paid £300 for my 2xl from Laptops Direct, grade A, next time I hope to do better - love it, it's been worth every penny, think I overpaid though 1 year ago

If I wasn't lucky enough to have got the O2 refresh deal for the P30 Pro a while back I'd have gone for this deal. Heat MrSwitch.
Gawd, I'm absolutely gagging for a new phone and this is tempting but I'm going to hold out for the MI A4.

I bought it used in pristine condition from CEX back in September and after some unhappy spells with a Samsung S9 (sold on) then an S8+ (stopped working) , I decided to leave Samsung and this is just so much nicer to use in terms of the interface.
Only issue I have with it is that it's not waterproof.
Any issues with 4gb ram? Seems low for a 2019 phone

Yes been very happy with mine, which is why I'm happy to stick with Google for my next phone, despite the negative press around the newer models. Got mine for 160 from music magpie about a year ago. Which I could have got back near enough a couple of months ago, but price has bottomed out now.

Voxi have the 4 for 495 interest free over 30minths which is tempting, but once you add a data plan on top, better options are probably available, but after being sim free for a few years, not too eager to go back the contract route

I have sim-only contract with discounted Spotify on Voda, very happy, but bought my old, and glorious, Samsung S7 on EE contract over 2 years, still best way of getting an expensive phone (mobiles.co.uk)

If you're able to wait a bit, great offers on Pixel 4 line should be forthcoming, both sim-free and contract, it's only way they'll be able to shift stock, they'll have to start making space in shelves for 4a soon...

My girlfriend uses this phone and apps keep reloading and the 4GB of RAM not enough to keep them in the background. Minimum 6 GB is essential in these days for normal use. Heavy use is min. 8.
