Enjoy your favourite movies, TV box-sets and mobile games on the Google Pixel 4’s eye-catching 5.7-inch OLED display. As well as pin-sharp HD images, you’ll enjoy full immersion in your content thanks to incredible sound from dual stereo speakers.

Crafted from aluminium, and finished with a matt coating, the Google Pixel 4 is both stylish and durable. It’s protected further thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back, and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating to safeguard against spillages or downpours.

The Google Pixel 4 showcases an impressive 16MP+12MP dual camera. Packed with features such as auto-focus, optical image stabilisation, a wide-angle field of view, and 4K video recording, this intelligent camera lets you just point and shoot, for great results with zero effort.

As well as taking studio-quality snaps on the main camera, you can capture stunning selfies courtesy of the 8MP front facing camera. It’s also ideal for high quality face-to-face conversations with up to eight friends at once, using the Google Duo video calling service.

At the heart of the Google Pixel 4 is a super-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience. Also on board is a large 2800mAh battery, complete with 18W fast charge, as well as wireless charging capabilities for added convenience.

Security is a primary concern on the handset, with facial recognition technology offering fast and reliable protection. The Pixel 4 is safeguarded for the future too, with three years of OS and security updates available from Google.

Google Pixel 4 debuts the brand new Android 10 operating system, which runs straight out of the box. It also includes the updated Google Assistant with new features and functionality, letting you control your handset and multitask between apps with a simple voice command.

The Pixel 4 also sees the arrival of the Motion Sense feature, which lets you interact with your phone without touching it. You can silence your alarm, answer incoming calls, and skip through songs on your playlist, all with gestures or movements.

Don't really play much games, so Google news, phone, and WhatsApp main battery consuming apps.I've turned off motion sense, ambient display, ok Google hotword (use squeeze instead) and use dark mode permanently. Turned off ambient eq too. It's a bit crap having to turn off some of the new features, but less worried now about range anxiety. The camera app to me is the biggest battery killer. The phone does seem to be settling down now too. [Image]

Well that sucks. Paying an arm and a leg for a flagship phone with killer features and then having to turn them off and limit your device usage just to get yourself an average battery life.
I'm really tempted with this. But the battery life seems to be the problem with this phone?
The Pixel 4 with 64 Gig of storage is cheap because its had a slating in the press for too little storage & battery. No one is buying them so they are having do do a lot of offers.

If you can afford it, go for the Pixel 4XL with 128 Gig storage that has been much better received by the press.

Yup that's the only thing that's going against it unfortunately and is a deal breaker for me at least.

£23/m is not an arm and a leg for a flagship, look at iPhone 11 Pro Max or Samsung Note 10+ And you will then appreciate a good deal

Silly comparison. Pixel 4's feature set puts it more in line with the S10 and iPhone 11.

Google don't have anything competing against the 11 Pro Max and Note 10+. The closest you can get is the Pixel 4 XL and that's considerably more expensive than this deal.

Wow. 4GB a day. Genuine question- Is that because no WiFi in home?
Just another note, these phones may break easily due to shortcuts in the design (no reinforcing at antenna lines). Watch the jerry rig video on yt
Great price, just a shame Google can't seem to get mobile phone basics rights after 10 years.

Honestly they don't have a clue....the cherry on top was them buying the HTC staff who also don't have a clue either!

The blind leading the blind as they say. It's like they didn't even go to their local phone shop and see what the competition are making and selling instead they worked in a vacuum
Given the negative comments, still a very good deal if you want a bloat free Pixel 4...
£10 cashback available via quidco.
This or oneplus 7t?
Battery is the reason I’m not going for this,
Does any1 know if it comes locked/unlocked?
Terrible phone. Not worth it at this price. This is coming from a huge Google phone fan as well

What makes you saying this?
These days we still have 4gb contracts
How are people using so much data?
Shame its only 4GB but wow this is a great deal. Nice find OP!
Lack of a fingerprint sensor is the deal breaker for me, was sure I'd be buying this phone until I discovered that. A real step backwards.

With face unlock as fast as it is, the fingerprint sensor is redundant.
The fact that this phone has lot so much value after basically a month or two after release should tell you something. Poor design choices, poor battery life, awful decision on storage and the usual bugs and issues on release from Google.

Poor effort and vastly overpriced on release. Crying shame too as its compounded by the iPhones getting thicker with bigger batteries for true all day battery life.

Absolute shambles, Google is. To not even be able to get the design right. Really does beg the question why are they even bothering? Might as well continued the nexus line with them being reference devices.

That's on the banks, once they update to the biometric API they get face/iris unlock for free.

I never said it was the phones fault... But it's not adopted like it should.

Now go look at how fast it was adopted on the iPhone at launch, shocking really that Google can't even get the banks to enable it.

Most banks have already pushed updates out with pretty much zero of them enabling the face unlock.

The previous users point is valid when the current solution doesn't work as easy as it did before.

Google don't have anywhere near as much control over Android as Apple does iOS, which is a blessing and a curse.

Consider this their attempt to force developers to support face unlock, if the phone had better sales then we might see quicker adoption.

Google have full control over Android... Especially the Pixel experience version.

They’re not doing a very good job at forcing, the code to enable the face unlock is literally one line of code.

Either way it’s not good enough and they should have put in the finger print scanner as a backup.

Then why does it take so long for none Google phones to get the latest updates?

I develop Android apps for a living, I can assure you it's not just one line of code.

I'm sure you'd know that it is literally one line of code to enable the new api then...

I'm sure you'll also know you can't blame Google for other oems to update, they tinker, change the base code and change multiple aspects of the core OS.
