How does this compare with the p30 (regular not pro)
thought I was going to upgrade to p30 now my Nokia 8 is no more but since using my mate 10 pro as daily driver there are some bugs I'm worried are issues across other huawei devices such as not being able to reply via notification drop down & notifications not showing full info eg what contact a text is from.

Aesthetically I prefer the p30 without a doubt however software wise I know I'll prefer the stock android experience. Using nova launcher Pro on the m10pro for more stock feel but as I say bugs seem to exists & whilst I'll accept it as a stop gap I don't want to get the p30 if it will have the same issues.

Here are my pros/cons list
128gb Vs 64gb
Sd slot Vs no sd slot
Fingerprint scanner vs no fingerprint scanner
Headphone jack vs no headphone jack

& Of course p30 wins on battery life

Neither of those bugs you mention happen on my P20 Pro...I know notifications on huawei are a PITA though. When I first got my P20 Pro I hated it for all the little quirks (I moved to it from stock android) but I guess I've learned to live with them....can't even remember what they all were now to be honest.
I need some good 4xl deals.

That's 5 plusses for the P30 & only 1 for the P4, so you know which one I'd go for (apart for my bias towards Huawei ;))

About the notification issues in your M10Pro, see if the suggestions I made in your thread about tweaking some settings in EMUI & Nova are of any help at all: hotukdeals.com/dis…819

I have the P30 Pro and don't have any of the issues you have mentioned.
