With the money you save you can buy a few portable battery packs.
Reviews of the phone don’t inspire
If the phone had lived up to the hype, I would be buying this right now. Unfortunately, Google have missed the mark on a handset yet again

eBay quite easily get brand new sealed for 500

There's always one comment like this in 99% of my deals, go and buy yourself one from ebay for £500, and just move along, nothing to see here

Sweet child of mine that's not a bad price.

Just curious if eBay/PayPal cover the buyer in the event the phone gets barred after purchase?

I'm liking my 3a, though Android 10 is taking a bit of getting used to.

Do you want people that just say “yes” on this app or people that actually give alternatives.

480 is a fair price but I’ve tried bagging a few over the past few days and I’m getting counter offers of 500 all the time.

No need to get offended mate, it’s fine you’re doing a good job just would personally go brand new and take the risk by checking the sellers profile etc.

I don't think I got offended by your comment, the whole world knows that you csn probably 99% of the time get something cheaper from a private seller, but there big differences between buying a smartphone off of a private seller with little to no comeback, or from an established company who offers 2 year warranty.

That's all I'm saying, sorry if it came acccross defensive, I really couldn't care less either way.

If you're going that route they're cheaper still on Facebook market place ...but there's a massive risk , zero warranty ( unless Google honour it ..which they possibly will , true ?) And the massive risk of it being blocked by the network if it's stolen or owner defaults on contract as it's not legally there's to sell until the end of thier contract ???? So this for peace of mind is a better deal IMHO as I don't have £500 to Chuck away but some folk are risk takers
I'm currently on an original Pixel XL which I got for £150 in Grade A condition this time last year from Appliances Direct. Looking to upgrade, any Pixel XL 2 deals floating around? Seems to be thin on the ground.

Ebay again ?
Not entirely sure Google tangible products live up to expectations of longevity inspired by the brand.

Too many Nexus products have died without good cause in this household sadly.
My pixel 2 died a death with slot b unbootable error last week. Funnily enough, I'd been on the hunt for a pixel 4 upgrade, but they were all too expensive. I think Google were trying to give me a helping hand. However, my contract ends at the end of December so technically, hopefully, the 2 is still under the manufacturer warranty. It's winging its way to Poland as we speak.
However, I called EE and got the pixel 4 for 33 a month with 30gb data and no upfront cost. It was close to what I wanted to pay but with far more data than I'd thought I'd get, so jumped at the offer.
Just 1 day into using the pixel 4 and it's definitely got a better screen. The sound from the phone has way more depth and the camera is excellent.
Only down side is that it's very slidy to hold so will need to get a cover for it asap.
Unlocked B on there for £500 too
