I've just worked it out the opposite way. We currently pay £6.40 each for 40gb sims from O2, I've got one son who isn't on that deal yet and has a rubbish 30 day SIM, none use anywhere near that amount but the £6.40 SIM is what he would have got otherwise. That means the data is worth around £150 to us and the phone approx £280. So that'll be more data for my 16 year old and my 17 year olds last phone from us is sorted without him needing to put his hand in his pocket like he was going to to get this phone, our budget was £250 but I can stretch to that. Sounds good to me!
