meh, it was already 299 for the same (although watch needs to be claimed), also JL has same price but 100 extra trade in offer, nothing exciting about this one

There is something exciting, in the sense that this is a bundle - both items are sent to you without needing to go through the claim process.

This was 299 and this deal is for 399. How is this even hot 🤑 Even the 299 deal had Versa included. (edited)

Agreed I paid £199 + free pixel buds, so with the buds sold the 6a set me back £130.

I was gutted to miss out on the £299 deal which was only available for 3hours! I was in work at the time! is this deal still work £399 for phone and watch?

Since nobody has attempted to answer your question so far, I will attempt to do so as best as I can. My answer will be rather skewed as I have posted this deal myself. Talking in approximate round figures, phone+watch costs £400. The watch at present is sold by mainstream retailers at about £160. So you are getting a decent phone for about £240 (not taking into consideration any trade-in from couple of retailers). That to my mind is a pretty good deal today. This is if you decide to keep the watch. However the selling price for the watch on eBay would be about £100 or even less. So you can work out whether this deal is worth or not.
MrSwitch had posted a couple of deals for the same bundle, at e2save and o2(refresh) where you can read a large number of comments to decide whether the present deal is worth it.
Lastly, you might even consider Pixel 7 with watch etc if any decent deals come up.
According to Amazon the deal posted here is a limited time deal. Maybe others can comment in response to your question above and my remarks. (edited)
