    Some of these deals are good overall, I just dont like that outlay upfront though and would rather the monthly price was higher than have to pay out more initially to make the monthly price drop

    £629 minus £100 Currys Voucher = £529
    And then £60 cashback = £469
    Obviously if you can make use of Currys Voucher.

    DON'T. huawei mate 20 pro is better. try to change the battery if you can. got mine changed direct from huawei for £30.

    I just did the same upgrade.

    Battery is worse. I done a side by side test as accurately as possible. Over a 16 hour day on EE from 100pc Pixel 7 got 5 hours screen on time with about 10% left. Mate 20 pro still had 40% left with 5 hours screen on time. This is with 5G off and 60hz on pixel 7.

    Pixel takes ages to charge its not even funny lol. Mate 20 pro can stick it on for 30 mins and enough battery for whole day use!

    Pixel camera is amazing at times, BUT there are times it is complete garbage especially for video recording. Mate 20 pro camera is solid pretty much all the time.

    Display - way better on mate 20 pro. slightly bigger too. Though I would say 90hz does feel smooth on pixel.

    Build - Mate 20 pro way better build. Pixel is chunky with worse battery life. Mate 20 pro is super thin!

    OS - Android 10 is almost flawless. Android 13 on pixel is full of bugs. I notice random bugs nearly everyday. Picture in Picture for YouTube is shocking (a google video app on GOOGLES OS on GOOGLES Phone!!!!)

    All in all a phone from 2018 is IMO better than a pixel 7 from 2022!!

    the wife now uses the mate 20 pro and I cant be bothered sending the pixel back and setting up banking apps etc from scratch. (edited)
