Seeing deals like this makes me feel like I'm missing out by only wanting to purchase the phone on its own lol

This is less than the retail price of the phone, you're still getting the opening offer of the free watch, so the sim deal is a bit of a bonus really, plus it's spreading the cost of the phone!

Who are you looking to go with? There are similarly priced offers available with Vodafone and Three.

Funny the other day when I was requesting my pac code, O2 staff ask me the details of the deal I went with, I laughed and said "you'll never match it", he then said "we are asking so we can use this for our own pricing..." so everyone should thank me!

Switched from voxi to O2 last year for boost benefits and it's the worst signal I've ever had (even 3 was better). But if in your area O2 is decent then it's a great deal

I've been battling with O2 recently as well. It has got worse down south, can't work out if it's just bad anyway or if they are pushing 5G heavily over 3/4G (my O2 work phone isn't 5G) - and to cap it off they have pulled the best Priority offers. Vodafone is consistently so good I might get Vodafone for work as well, the 5G coverage is widespread and excellent, 4G is very usable and their loyalty offers beat anyone else.

Volt is very bad after the expiry of your contract as Virgin media O2 charge upgraded speed / data full price , not the one you signed for . Virgin media upgraded me to 1gig for free on Volt . If I did not renew my contract with them, they would have charged me 4 times more for the month outside my contract. This is biggest catch with Volt as it lets them charge more when contract runs out . Make sure you cancel Volt contract same day contract runs out if not earlier. (edited)

Contact them and they will sort it out.
I was on 100mb and with volt it became 200mb. When the contract ended they hiked up the price, I called and said I am leaving they then kept me on the same old price and increased the speed to 350mb. So volt did work well for me at the end

    V. good price @MrSwitch

My question is, can anyone comment on how O2 are with 5G? I was with them during the 4G era and the speed/performance was just dire - couldn't wait to switch to EE.

I've got VM so the boost in BB and data would be good.

I know they got the lowest chunk of the 4G spectrum when they were auctioning it all off. (edited)

I'm currently getting just over 100mb sat in my house on 5G / O2, I live in the North east, but the speed has been generally great

Far better going for Vodafone at the moment, O2 signal has been shocking, in Devon they have a broken mast that they have fixed for months.
I seem to get brilliant data coverage in most places with Vodafone

Like you say, area dependent, O2 and vodafone are good for me, others may have shocking vodafone coverage

Might go for the Vodafone variant later on (Black Friday I guess). I was in Portsmouth yesterday, Great South Run was on so very busy, Vodafone had full 5G and worked fine, I had my O2 work phone, it could not get data the entire day. I don’t understand how O2 seems to be permanently awful especially in southern cities?

Very good price for the new Pixel 7 Pro, less than retail price, with free Pixel Watch LTE, so if O2 works for you then this is a bargain! 20GB is enough data for a lot of people so with reasonable monthly and upfront cost this is 🔥

Am I correct in thinking Virgin mobile is O2 also?

Mine has been patchy at best at home in Devon, and roaming was non existent in Spain, Italy and Poland.

Used to work well but hey ho.

    AF1_Supra
Yes they have cpi + 3.9%, so the cpi could be 5% so it would be +8.9%. If three has good coverage in your area I would go with Three as they have a fixed 4.5%

My phone browser is being annoying and the colours are all over the place.

Can you see an estimated delivery date for the handset when you go to the order page?

There is a saving to be made by returning my sim-frer order from Google, but I'm also in a place where the handset has been delivered today and I'm too eager to get my hands on one.

The watch was destined for eBay anyway so I'm less bothered about that, although feel the value is only likely to go down with more waiting which makes it less appealing for me.
