Google play music - all access streaming for £7.99 a month

Found 7th Aug 2013
It's been out in America a while but just noticed Google play music all access has launched here, sign up before 15th September and it will only be £7.99 a month (usually £9.99 monthly). It comes with a 30 day free trial and then £7.99 a month.

For those that don't know it's a music streaming service that you can download the tracks to play offline on the go. It works out cheaper than other services like Napster and Spotify if you want to play them while offline..

For iphone users I believe this app will make it work for you until google release it officially

Thanks, edited the OP to include the cost it will be after 15th September

Good deal

Really don't know why this is getting voted cold, it's cheaper than Spotify and is a pretty decent deal.
Probably the Google haters.

Probably because it needs to catch up to the range of music that Spotify has and there isn't apps for other platforms yet.

Everything is there apart from the speciality stuff, and lets be honest - I bet 99% of HUKD readers don't even listen to that anyway. Its £2 cheaper and there is a player for iOS.

Would probably go for this if I didn't pay £4.99 for Spotify - although they have a pretty polished iOS app now along with a great music catalogue.

I'm giving it it's months trial, like you I have the £4.99 option on Napster, while it works on my squeezeboxes we rarely use it but I miss having it on my phone more, if I use this much I'll ditch the Napster sub

This should be hot since it's £2.00/month cheaper than Spotify Premium.

Is there much difference between this and Deezer ?

Confused now ! Is the music I uploaded to stream off the music app is that still free ?

good deal for mobile streaming music, so for that heated added,£2 cheaper than napster and spotify options. but I will stay with spotify as google don't work with sonos music systems yet.
ps whats the bit rate, most of spotify plays at 320?

that stays as it is, the all access bit means you can add tracks you don't own to the library as well, it's in s similar way to the £9.99 spotify and Napster services. I have noticed it makes a single library so of there's music you own that isn't on there you can make a single play list with your uploaded file and theirs which is something that annoyed me on spotify when my play lists skipped the Beatles in my phone

This is a brilliant deal, £7.99 a month for all you can eat music! Music can be downloaded to device, so no need to use valuable bandwidth!

I was buying a couple of albums a month, so this will save me a couple of quid ... but guess I will go on a music binge now!

Thanks OP

It'll be even better when we can buy Chromecasts and have this playing out of our TVs and stereos.

Forgot to mention. My wife wanted Now 85. I could find it to buy but not to stream so I created a playlist (disc 1 so far) of all the tracks and shared it publicly.

Music will be played at a higher bit rate (up to 320Kbps) when using a fast internet connection.

i have been using this for the past 3/4 days and i have to say its decent but is it worth the £7.99 a month? guess it depends on how much music you listen to... i only listen to music for around 30 mins a day, so not really worth the price. if it was £4.99 a month then i would have kept it but once my free trial is over i think i will not be continuing with it

last day to sign up on the £7.99

Google music is really good but let me down when it only played 4-5 tracks out of a 14 track album happened to me a few times very annoying so they wouldn't get 7.99 from me .
