Probably not very white if it's second hand

Good deal, £7 cheaper than retail. Remember you need a Chromecast Ultra in order to play on your TV.
Will still work on a PC with Chrome browser or with a Pixel phone via Bluetooth though.

Deal aside, Stadia sucks. If you want this kind of gaming, you're best holding out for Xbox GamePass to include streaming. The Preview program at the moment works great.

Personally for £7 id get a new one aside from the thought of someones sweaty hands on it you get the warranty and support if you need it.

I agree. I also can't see them holding their value in a year's time.
They'll be like other Google hardware and discounted every few months.

Its just annoying that you can use most controllers on your phone or browser, yet only the stadia controller on your tv

I'm playing stadia on my Nvidia shield (2019) with a wireless PS4 controller. I sideloaded chrome, put it in desktop mode and went to stadia.google.com. I also installed mouse toggle for Android TV too to help navigate chrome. Works a treat!
Just get an Xbox controller for £10 less if playing through pc. Cheaper, better quality, and better compatibility with other services. I've had two Stadia controllers, they're a nice design but I've not got on with the triggers at all.
tried to play Grid but every time i try, the input lag was horrendous. like unplayable horrendous. this was using a ps4 pad on a chromebook. tried multiple times over a few weeks, same issue.

Hmmm... a saving of £5.05 over the cost of a brand new one Cold from me.
Not a great controller, honestly. Dual shock 4 or Xbone One controllers are both cheaper and far superior.

Same here. Works fine on my shield using Chrome beta. You can use the shield TV app for a mouse and keyboard as well
I thought the point of these controllers was to reduce lag as talking to your router rather than to your PC / console and then to the router. Neutral from me. I have no interest in stadia as a pc gamer but those who said lag is a problem.. I'm sure it is! But this controller is designed to reduce some of that but will have to see youtubers review like gamersnexus or digital foundry to properly test it!
I agree that in the past 'A' condition stuff from CEX has been like new... and some people (like me) might have loads of old vouchers. I prefer to sell on CEX than ebay and so have a LOT of vouchers and waiting to buy an 'as new' AMD GPU when they do ray tracing don't think 5700XT a sufficient upgrade on my vega 56 at the moment.

depends where your second hands been...
Yuck pre owned. Should be illegal selling yucky pre owned items especially stuff like germ filled controllers! Genuinely dont know how people buy used items

Thanks for your first deal @Mrwrite and welcome to hotukdeals I guess for pre-owned people would want to see a little more than £7 off but as others have said, A condition could be like new so for some this won't be a problem.
