The lack of cross-play really hurts Stadia, particularly with titles that have cross-play elsewhere. A killer feature would be for someone to be able to join in playing a game with their friends who doesn't have a console/PC that can run it etc.

For me Stadia is perfect though, as I've never been into large multiplayer games, i'm way to casual of a player for that, I enjoy completing the odd single-player game and use Stadia for games nights with a long-distance friend, so since we both arrange to play together, this is not an issue, the library has enough that we want but wish it had a few more.

Stadia is so close to being an absolutely fantastic service, it's a shame Google doesn't invest in it, I feel like they have the hard part right, but because they don't invest in it, the easier part to pull off means the service will eventually die, but I love it myself. (edited)

Ticks along like nicely. The thing that amazes me is that PlayStation is a thing.

PlayStation will be cloud based in 10 years just like Stadia, so who knows, Stadia still might be here come 10 years. (edited)

Gutted I missed the sale on MK11, I think it was £7.99

I bought it and it runs well although I do find it occasionally stutters but not to the detriment of the gameplay.

Don't know if it interests you but another fighting game is on sale for £5.99 (Dragonball Xenoverse 2)

I think it depends on the game. Always seems to be players on Ghost Recon Wildlands.

I wonder if PlayStation will buy access to the Stadia Backbone. Otherwise it's all Microsoft.

Possibly as they're opening it to third parties soon with Google Stream - I find Playstations current game streaming service awful it just is unplayable whereas Stadia has been amazing. I'm very happy with the Pro games and there are plenty of coach multiplayer games which I love

Awful this month. Only 4 games? Oh well.

Some good stuff being added to Stadia in general though, so hopefully these will be added to Pro soon. Happy to have overcooked about to hit the service and golf with friends recently added! (edited)

Today, more than 250 games are available on Stadia. It’s not all exciting stuff — nobody’s signing up to play Uno or The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem — but in the past 12 months, we’ve seen big-ticket games like Far Cry 6, Madden NFL 22, Resident Evil Village, and Hitman 3 land on Stadia day-and-date with other platforms. During Cyberpunk 2077’s troubled launch in late 2020, Stadia was actually one of the best ways to play the game. Smaller but still noteworthy games like Chorus, Farming Simulator 22, Life is Strange: True Colors, and Little Nightmares II have shown up on time, too.
