Alexa and GH compatible LED strip controller for £13.99 on Amazon, choose the 'buy one and get X discounted' offer, select the 3m magic light strip (waterproof to boot!).

Thats a hue/yeelight alternative and the cheapest I've seen for something like this!

Doesn't have any reviews, but light strip itself has quite a few negative ones. Good price though.

From my quick reading, most negativity stemmed from the adhesive rather than the lights themselves. Worth a punt for the controller alone.
any link to the led strip lights

Yes, 3m. Click on the promo message under the price, add the magic light strip, go to checkout and £11.99 will be discounted.
Be aware there is no power adaptor included. These are not cheap.

I did this last year with some cycling equipment, same sort of thing.
The seller dispatched the items and I was charged the full amount.

Thanks
Received mine and unfortunately the strip isn't actually plug and play with the wifi controller! No leads to connect to a 4 pin connector (also not provided) and the strip doesn't actually look like it could attach to a 4 pin connector anyway! The strip is ready to be attached to a DC adapter and just flashes through colours.

Will update once I've tried the controller with another strip that I'm about to order.
Not receive mine yet but it has been dispatched with all the free gifts (only 1 unit ordered) and have only been charged the £13.99. Bought mine to go with another led strip that I already have so will also update
The controller seems to work well. Tested using Google Home but Alexa and Nest should be equally as simple.

Same here, very surprised it went through tbh
Can't seem to get mine paired up 🤔

Edit: got it into pairing mode by switching on and off a few times. My controller seems to be dud. Controlling by the app works fine.

Got mine working great. Bit of pain that it doesn't support 5ghz though. Didn't realize the paring button was on the remote d'oh.

If you separate the bands on your router to pair then change back after it'll still work
Not possible with the google mesh wifi setup. I've sorted it anyway.

It comes with a small adapter
Is that the 4 pin one ? I can't see how you connect the female socket to it
Yes
It won't work, you need to buy a new 4pin led strip, very annoying
This listing is a mess - why would they bundle a controller with an LED strip that cant connect?? Im also a little confused - the controller needs a 24v input but the lights need a 12v - a universal PSU only goes to 12v - will 12v work in the controller with the lights? Any advise please... thanks...

I've been working nights this week and I haven't even checked mine.
Both arrived on separate days within the last week, why they couldn't send them together I don't really know.
Has anyone complained to the seller??
Has anyone managed to get theirs sorted, I can't see anyway of connecting the plugs.
Very strange indeed.

Gavin, could you pm me some pics of the connections on the lightstrip and power source as I'm positive they've sent me the incorrect items.
I'm not sure why people aren't answering me?
Has anyone contacted the seller?
Ahhh, I'm just sending them back as I haven't a clue what to do.
