I've reserved but no mention of the 3 way handle in my basket, did they just give you this instore?
Thanks
It's saying there on the first pic +FREE 3 way handler worth £54.99
i reserved as a bundle, cancel and do it again , if you didn't paid for it, i paid in shop just in case
Sorted! Reserved it again lol.
I've just rang John Lewis there to see if they'll match and throw thr handle in, the lady said she'll have to get the right department to call me back so just waiting!
Rather buy from JL to get the 2 year warranty
might have to do it

I went for this only because i had almost £70 on my nectar good luck with john lewis , btw i think with john lewis you have extra insurance for £15 in case you drive over your camera
Looking at the Yi 4K, looks very impressive...hmm
UPDATE: OK forget all of that, I heard the 6 should arrive this year, I'll wait...
Gonna use it for my trip to Japan this year along with my Canon 100d which I hope to upgrade to a 80D.
These sell for £330-350 used so could always make money back.
Lol, I don't plan on driving over it. I'm using it for my YouTube videos, been meaning to buy one for ages all my videos have been taken with my phone so lets see how this fairs!
Just been watching some Hero 5 Black vs iPhone videos on YouTube via an LG OLED and to be honest, other than the wider angle lens the iPhone looks better oO
Maybe £150 would be a good deal based on the portability of the GoPro for sports and such but for hiking and general photography I think the iPhone wins for me. I really wanted to like the GoPro as well, shame
These 2 items at Amazon costing close to £450..
Name some alternatives if you're actually here to help
I brought mine late march, give argos a call, as i just had the £100 refunded as a goodwill gesture.
Thanks for that! Will try ring them now
They change all the time, but when I was looking a few months ago I looked at the Eken H9R but eventually settled on an SJCam SJ5000x Elite. It was £94 when I bought it, a little more expensive now the pound has dropped.
Man, Yi 4k+ is out. Get that instead. I'm waiting for it to be available in the UK Amazon or w/e as I'm not waiting 1 month for delivery. It records 4k @ 60fps and Yi is also coming out with a drone where you can attach the camera. Check out their CES booth on YouTube.
They're refunding me the £100 - thank you so much for your help!
I spent months searching for what I wanted. I purchased the SJ5000X, had it 6 months, bought it early ready to use for my holiday and get familiar with it, only used it several times for light use, then the side button pushed through the housing the day before my holiday. Emailed Gearbest but they only do a 45 day warranty and were of no use what so ever. £100 down the drain. Had to go out and buy a GoPro the day of my holiday before leaving. Bought the GoPro4 Silver and the quality in build and use is far superior to the SJ5000x. As the saying goes, buy cheap buy twice. I would not recommend the cheaper Chinese versions to anyone personally.
Are they giving you the 3-way handler too? I'd phone again and ask, if not return it to a store then buy again. Very handy piece of kit for free.
He means he used the £10 voucher to get the battery for £9.99.
Yup...anyone got a link. Couldn't find it

I'm waiting to hear but fingers crossed I get it too
I don't care what anyone says , it is a fantastic camera , and you can compare with all the rest of the cheap chinese makes , at the end of the day it comes down to simple thing. You always get what you pay for !
Don't be so sure, the Yi 4K, is just as good, the only deal breaker for some, is the Yi needs a waterproof case, but Ali Express have been selling the Yi 4K for as little as £152 in their recent sale, + £15 for the case thats still a substantial saving on the go pro even at £299.

I hear what you are saying , but it's like anything else , one thing what's on paper another thing real life, time will only show which one will last longer. But I know who would i bet on that is gonna survive more abuse and extreme usage
