If this is as good as the glue, I wouldn't have it as a gift!
Bought the overpriced glue last week and attempted to bond two pieces of stainless steel.
Followed the instructions slavishly and clamped the two pieces for 24hrs after which I was able to easily separate the parts with my nails...(and I tend to bite them!).
Utter rubbish.

gorilla glue is a brand name so not like the gorilla glue this is duct tape.

I found this stuff not as sticky as Duck tape and twice the thickness this can make it harder to work with. However I'm sure it has it uses at this price

Probably get more interest if you change the title to '50 Shades of Grey Movie Merchandise' lol!

My experience as well .. it's okay, but I'd rather have proper duck tape ..

Don't follow your logic there, 'GORILLA' is the brand, they make both the glue and the tape, ergo I regard them both with the same disdain!
This is their web site

Gorilla Tape is great stuff, use it for everything around the house. In my experience better than duct tape.

Does anyone know if this is any good for using on the mother in laws' mouth? I'm not really that concerned about the branding of the product. Just need to know if it actually works. Thanks

"Excuse me, do you sell cloth tape mesh?"
"pardon?"
"cloth tape mesh?"
"no, never heard of it"
"OK can I have some duct tape please?"
"yeah would you like the Gorilla Glue version?"

You can't really bond stainless steel with anything. You could have a go with araldite (not the rapid sort) You should roughen the surface and if possible drill holes in it. Araldite should be left for about 48 hours or more to set.

This stuff has been holding my rear bumper on for over a year, fantastic.

That's because the important part (what it is) isn't last. It should be 'cloth mesh tape' then he should have understood.
You would not ask for a 'new motor electric' would you? or Gorilla glue tape black?

Gorilla tape has replaced duct tape in my house. Useful for sticking things together, but comes into it's own when it comes to patching tents, rucksacks, waterproofs etc. Very handy stuff.

The photo posted is incorrect, this tape is the thinner stuff (25mm/1 Inch wide)

This is the one taken from the screwfix website:

I have used this tape and I agree it's thick but it has worked for me very well where regular (non water resistant) tape would have surely failed due to mosture. It seems to be as well bonded as it was 3 or 4 weeks ago. The tape is located in a half indoor/outdoor situation with no direct rainfall but plenty of damp. Also I bought this in the first place because I was so pleased with their gorilla glue. I have used that outside in my garden and it is absolutely completely water proof and the bond it creates between plastic is very strong.

Can you just go into the shop and buy it rather than paying and reserve online?

It's like when people say Tannoy when they mean public address system.

I fail to understand, Why this stuff is hot. The price is RRP.
This is just 9m long.

What I have been missing here ??

you could get similar item here 50m length for £3.99

Ha hahaha

For anyone OCD I posted this in the past from Screwfix too. The Tape has a date on it (on the packaging). Emailed the company (yeah yeah family owned or something) does the date mean any repairs made with the tape will begin to fail after said date. Got email back that went " I have a roll in front of me and there's no date on it". FFS. Don't know their own product has a Use By/BBF/TFA date. oO

Aaannyway. Just check when you pick your roll up the date is decent (was back of packaging in tiny letters on mine).

Ideal for ghetto tubeless

Too hot!!!!!

Only 9M

Most duct tape are 25M or 50M
Cold for me

As used by all BTCC teams...

Heat given. Excellent product. Thanks.
