I tried to post this a few days ago, but got marked as a duplicate...
It breaks down in UV light after a while and starts to disintegrate in my experience,I wrapped it round and round a chain to stop the chain directly touching the ladders locked up in my garden and the sun and weather destroyed this tape after a single season

Surely you just get more tape? A few months outside, wrapped around a chain is ok imo.
Not meant for it - but this tape has sealed up a pin prick hole in a radiator (been good for 2 years now) and has sealed an external cracked drainage pipe from the kitchen.
All the other Gorilla stuff is on offer too at Tesco .
Is this tape easy to peal off? I'm at uni and keep getting parking fines because they refuse to give me a parking permit because so "too many" people already have parking permits. i am thinking of using this tape to block a letter on my number plates so they cant give me a fine. It is private land so im assuming they cant do anything.

Can't clamp you, but there are stronger laws on fining for private land owners. You'll likely get hit again and again. I wouldn't say blocking your licence plate is a good idea.
Helped seal a drainage waste pipe for my washer dryer. Banging bit of kit
Kidknappers everywhere heading to Tesco......
Have a look in aldi got some silver ones for 79p.
Probably store specific but you never know ?

But blocking my license plate with tape would stop them giving me another ticket but also they are not allowed to peel the tape off the number plate as it is my property.

You're sitting on their land. I'd be proper miffed if you parked there and didn't pay me.
Handy to have in.
How much cheaper is the less handy / inconvenient roll ?

If you left it on and were driving around it might put you at risk with the police. You can appeal private parking tickets and win - look for guides online. Most private parking land owners don't actually follow the rules and therefore you have good grounds for appeal.

Students these days. In my day it was cornflakes for breakfast, beans on toast for dinner and you walked or took the bus.
Or had a bike if you were lucky and didnt mind smelling a bit.

Sounds like the place you want to park is full. A shame, but doesn't give you an automatic right to park there.

OMG, 67p saving, sometimes i wonder how things get on here
I've used lots of this stuff and can't praise it highly enough. When life is too busy you can 'bodge' a lot of jobs until you've got the time to sort it out. Big fan.

I cracked my bathroom sink causing water to leak out the bottom. A year on and the tape is still holding a seal even after all the times water's been running on it

If I were you and I had a good case for parking without the permit, i.e. you are entitled ( and can prove it ) but office staff dragging their feet, let them send as many begging letters ( not fines! ) as they wish ( reply with the reason why you are not paying )..... then let their so-called solicitors get involved.... then let them spend money on court fees...... then you can see them in court and produce your 'entitlement proof'. Fret Not! :-)

You are strange. Its my uni carpark, they refuse to give me a permit saying parking is already an issue but yet I find spaces but get fined for not having a permit. I pay £9k in fees and I cant even park at my own uni without getting fined, I am a student so not exactly rich.

I wouldnt be that silly to leave it on whilst driving, I would only put it on in my uni carpark.

No... Just... No...

You don't know their reasons for denying you a permit. You sound like you are assuming that they do not have a good reason. Your 9k pays for your education, not your parking. It's a perk, not your right. You are lucky to have a car - you say you are not exactly rich, yet can afford a car, running a car, and are even willing to pay for parking!

Just walk, cycle or take a bus. Anyway, what do I know, maybe you have your reasons for wanting a permit

You sound like one of those kids who was very unpopular and had no mates at school. My uni is in the countryside, there are dozens of big carparks that get full up. I cannot take the bus as my student accommodation is 6.7 miles away and there no bus routes from there. Also you expect me to cycle there when I have 9am lectures? so I have to get up a 5am everyday meaning I have to go to bed at 9pm which wont be feasible when I have studying to do but I can't do that if my last lecture finishes at 5? Yeah you dont know my circumstances so think before you speak. Also I wanted a solution.
