Main thing I find is that good quality tape always tends to be more expensive (not saying has to be but whenever I buy a cheap rolls they tend to be no where near as good). Find Gorilla to be reliable and regularly on offer at Tesco.
Always carry a roll in a rucksack : )
This and the clear are essential in it house for quick fixes you want to last 🏻 🏻

Used this to tape up my Christmas lights only need a few small pieces rather than meters of regular tape.

Not anymore.. If it was, they as usual changed the price after seeing demand. A tactic I've noticed they started recently, along with advertising deals ie. valid until 30th Dec.. but end it long before that date, sometimes within a couple of days of starting. Good deal if you want small roll. Duck tape is 25m long for around 5£ or 50m 7£. This is only 9m. (edited)
I thought it was just 9m because it was thicker, from the photos it looked like standard width duct tape, didn't notice it was just 25mm! I received an unexpectedly tiny roll
Got proper duct tape, 30m for 2.99 at a shop nearby...
