Cleaning can be a little tricky as you can't get away with just using more foil

I am thinking of using my Ninja single unit (it's a big one my mum got for last christmas) to make some potato and chicken liver and breadcrumb fry thingy for dinner. I may leave it for tomorrow and think about the method tonight, I've got homemade mayo (you can microwave this for hot meals) and tuna sweetcord to eat now as I made a lot of the sauce for my Post Potato Microwave Bake Day.

I used these silicone liners IMO fit better as square like the basket and rack Check this out! amzn.eu/d/1…WKR

I bought these, but they are a bit small ... Could do with being an inch wider and longer

I had the earlier model bought from Costco. It broke just after 2 years of use. Costco accepted my returns and gave me the refund. While I was returning the product I saw a piece of this new model returned by another customer, and found that the touch screen was not working. I though that could be a one off case and I bought a new one the same day. That piece also had issue with the touch screen. It was not responding. Next day I returned the same.
Just wanted to share my experience.

The temp/time button has stopped working on the touch screen for us. Waiting for Costco to get stock back in store before returning.

Is there any point to get a membership to buy this in-store?
    PaulandPam's avatar
Definitely a yes, then go to the cafe and get some cheap freshly cooked pizza or maybe a decent hotdog and soda for £1.50 then on the way out fill your car up with cheaper than average fuel.

    Yes, they're a lot cheaper in-store. I got mine last month for £37.99 + VAT (£45.59)

This, my coffee machine and my kettle is the only three appliances I have on the worktop in my kitchen. Such a fantastic air fryer. I wouldn’t be without mine!

    This is the way.

The top grill is a right pain with these, can’t easily pick it up when hot, grill bars too wide so food falls between them.

    Otherwise the AF works well
    Drekly's avatar
Agree with this, also it's unbalanced because of the feet if you lift something to turn it over it can tip and food falls off.
    Great air fryer though

Just be careful with this model. Just been to Costco and there was a few Returns piled up.

The element stopped working in mine 11 months into ownership. Costco exchanged it with no hassle. I did consider buying a different fryer but these are very good at the price point.

Had one of these since last year and it's great. First thing to do though is buy a silicon inlay from Amazon and you'll never experience non stick issues I use mine for cooking breakfast packs mainly. Buy a breakfast pack ( the big one) from Aldi, split it in two. Freese half cook the other half with some curly chips. Heat beans in microwave and yer tea is done (edited)

    Hi,
Can you please post the link of silicone inlay matching this please?

Best thing ever this..as above, the crisper tray is very much stick than non stick.. the rack thing rocks around like ACDC.. chips/sausages/pork shoulder all brilliant.

The 'non-stick' crisper tray is awful, everything sticks to it
    MEL_LEADBITTER's avatar
Same....awful performance of nonstick. Nice large basket though...

Have had one of these for a while now and it's absolutely amazing for the price. It gets used daily.

I have a few annoyances with it though but for the price, they can be overlooked:

    * The nonstick tray is losing it's nonstick coating. If there were an aftermarket replacement available I'd buy it. That said, it's absolutely fine with a little spray of oil.
    * The nonstick tray is ever so slightly too small so if you try and tip stuff out of the basket then the nonstick tray comes falling out (unless you hold it in with some tongs or something).
    * The grill rack thingy doesn't really have a position where it sits soundly. It ends up wobbling about and stuff slips through the bars. With a pair of tongs and a bit of skill, you can maneuver it about but inevitably you're going to end up dropping your chicken tenders or whatever and shouting obscenities. Someone needs to produce an aftermarket improved version of the grill version and I'd snap it up.

other than that, absolutely brilliant. My wife has somehow managed to start making boiled eggs in it but it's still a mystery to me how. (edited)

There is an aftermarket replacement available, I posted it a while ago, you can get it on Ebay (not cheap though)

Yep if you buy online with Costco the prices are higher to account for shipping and handling.

Do These things actually cook evenly when they are ram packed like it shows in the picture. What are the complaints regarding nonstick

I have a Philips Viva Collection Airfryer HD9220/20 which says the capacity is 800g this one says it’s 6.7L, any one know which will be bigger? Love the Philips but it’s dirty and buying a new one would be an easy way to not have to clean it, but I can’t deal with having a smaller capacity.
