How much is the average drink in this Hotel chain? I should imagine they are £5 for a pint of lager or cider so total cost for a cheese burger and chips with a pint would be £7.75. Not bad for a hotel but not worth a special trip IMO. Please correct me if the cost of a drink is more in line with pub prices. If they were £3.50 the meal would be £6.25 including a pint so quite a good deal. Not voting either way.

dont have to buy a pint though. for those wanting a soft drink a pint of coke is about £2 average so £4 for burger, fries and a coke. hot for me

J20 £2.60 - Bought one there last week

It's the best Angus steak burger too................................................................hahahahahahahaha.... long laugh

I must admit their burgers were lovely last time I was at one of these hotels - one isn't too far away from me, so I will certainly try this one time. Do we know when the offer finishes? And if it's only certain venues? Thanks anyway OP

And the rest for a pint of coke.

£2.60 for a J2O is not too bad. Seems like a good deal then, heat added.

This offer has been on for at least a year if not longer, for those asking how long it's on for

Great. Fridays. The one day a week I can't eat meat.

Heat added anyway.

Do you know if you need to book a table in advance?

No, you don't. I've never had it but often been in there having a drink with a table booked elsewhere later, still been tempted to have a burger for a quid.

Interesting choice of locations !

Particularly this one. oO

Village Hotel do not stun their burgers before cooking them.
I am offended.
Cold.

The difference between it being a good and bad deal is £1.50, really? £1.50

This deal has been on for as long as i can remember, sure you didn't have to buy a drink either but most would anyway

it might be £2 at your local but down here it's £3.2 and that's might be what darksideboy is talking about. also the burger are not same they use on their normal burgers and finally don't do veggie burger in deal so cold from me

A pint of lager on a Friday is £1.95 with their red card offer.

Just order a soda water, ice & slice of lemon = FREE

Its a great deal when we were gonna have a drink anyway, quality depends which hotel your at, we went manc Hyde and its was homemade chips and burgers amazing, Nottingham was standard frozen but still tasty enough!!

Great deal, definitely adding that heat

What if there is 4 of you and you have 2 kids, can you all get a burger for £1 if you buy 4 drinks? Do you have to book a table or can you just turn up and still get this deal?

This deal has been on for ages. You don't have to book but some can get busy especially if there's Friday night football on or something.

A pint of coke in the village hotel is never £2 definitely not in the Farnborough one.

Heat added because it's a good deal. As to the other thing, well, since you ask...

voted hot like I hope their burgers are

however did notice only beefburgers are in the offer so not sure what the veggie g/f will eat. maybe just the bun!

Yes, the difference between good value can be £1.50. If it was a £500 object then not so much but a £6 meal then £1.50 is 25%

She looks like she's got the baps but no meat.....what's her table number? ....I'll pop over and rectify

Is this location specific or any village hotel

I don't expect much for a pound but I thought what the hell add a few toppings at 75p each and it's still a cheap meal... however there was no toppings list specified and I was told bacon and cheese where all I could have so thats what I did.... so when it turned up without lettuce or tomato I shouldn't have been shocked! I guess it's a reminder of you get what you pay for! personaly I wouldn't recommend it...pay more and get yourself a half decent burger somewhere else!

This deal is juicy..

Heat added

I wanna see a picture of these burgers, anyone?!
