So going on the average child's weight this seat is suitable for 7 to 11 year olds. As some may know a child can go without a booster once they reach 135cm (which is 9 years old on average).
These seats are now deemed less safe than those with backs fitted madeformums.com/new…tml
Just for info'....it's your money and kids.
Better than nothing at all, heat
Better going for something with a back Tesco link £25

I saw in a newsletter I get that they are soon to no longer be legal, but still be legal to use if you already have one.

Change to the law about booster cushions
New regulations regarding the sale and use of booster cushions take affect on 9th February 2017. The new rules mean that manufacturers will no longer be allowed to introduce new models of backless booster seats (booster cushions) for children shorter than 125cm and weighing less than 22kg.

This change does not affect existing models of seats or cushions; they will only apply to new booster cushions, not ones which are already in use and meet existing safety standards. So, parents who use old booster cushions will not be breaking the law if they continue to use them after the rule change. They will not be required to buy new booster seats to meet the rule change.

This change means that anyone buying a booster cushion should take extra care to read the manufacturer's labels and instructions in order to ensure that the one they select is appropriate for their child's use.

I thought the same as you. :-) Still, I'd feel better with my child in a full seat rather than a booster seat but that's just my preferance.
We have a seven seater with two folding seats in the boot, & occasionally need to run other kids about. We have three of the seats with backs on, but keeping two extra in the car takes up too much room so these are perfect.
I opened the B&M website and this booster seat's price has gone down to £1.
Couldn't find it in the Bishop's Stortford B&M branch. Anyone know which store has this in stock?
