These 123 seats are larger. Worth remembering that the 5 point harness though can still only be used to 18kg / approx 3-4 year old.
If you have a tall toddler that is still under 18kg but too tall for their group 1 seat a 123 seat can enable you to keep them harnessed for a while longer.
As a main seat for the group 1 stage approx 12 months to 3-4 years it's worth bearing in mind the recline is very little in this seat. Doesn't matter unless your little one likes to snooze.
This is only forward facing seat. And because of that I would not buy it. My 6 month old boy is 10kg+ and there is no way I would sit him facing forward.
I have this seat it's very good in my opinion. Great price. Heat
also 5% topcashback. voted hot.

As they get taller you’ll find that rear facing seats cramp their legs so at some point you’ll end up using a forward facing seat.

Good to know it’s a non iso-fix seat as my car doesn’t have iso-fix.

Tell that to my daughter who will be 6 in three months time and has a rear facing seat. Children will naturally sit cross-legged, or find another position that is comfortable. The only complaint about legs we get in our car is from our 9 year old when we are on long journeys - her legs ache from dangling in mid-air off the front of her high backed booster with no support.

This is a bigger picture car seat. It is a group 123 seat. Isofix can only be used to fit a group one seat in place as it is only suitable to restrain up to18kg.

At group 2 and 3 it is the cars own seatbelt holds it in place. Isofix in a high back booster would only prevent it from moving if the child isn't in it. It's convenience not safety for 123 seats as it does not reduce the importance of the seat belt being routed correctly in group 2 or 3 mode.
Which is true of any high back booster.

This one has a seat belt tension locking clip. It feels very secure when fitted with the seat belt.
Pull the belt as tight as you can while pushing the child seat back into the cars own seat as you lock it and you should be sorted.

Be warned some seats don’t fit all cars. Check manufacturer website for compatibility
