As a fairly experienced and enthusiastic hobbyist computer builder, I would say this isn’t a good deal but that’s just my opinion. Perhaps, accumulatively, the financial maths of this deal are sound but that’s a lot of dough for not a very future proof system. Old GPU, tiny SSD, only 8GB ram and worst of all not a great processor in terms of bang for buck. An AMD Ryzen these days will smash that for comparatively way less money. And even if one is adamantly sticking to Intel, there are new cpus on the way which reportedly will lead to price drops.
