Bang for buck the Honor 10 128g a+ at £169 seems better than the mate imho, good find.

The 6mth warranty would put me off a little when quite a lot of other sellers give 12 but this is a great price.

Some nice prices there shame grade a does not come with box and accessories
Back on track I see switchy, does it come with free brake pads 😁.
Seriously though some bargains to be had there.
Shame there's such a shortage of huawei, honor and mate deals about though.
Could do with a few more me thinks

Deals are deals and at the end of the day... Midnight.
I've been looking at the s10e as I don't like big phones, which mid size phone would you say is the best to get?
I like under 6"

The S10e is probably the best then.

The Honor 10 is fairly compact (although a bit bigger than the S10e), it depends if you want pretty-much-flagship or still pretty-near-flagship at a fraction of the cost, I'd expect the camera to be the main difference. Looks as though Sony may have given up on doing compact flagships and are now concentrating on 21:9 ratio behemoths!

Couldn't agree more, if it came to budget the honor 10 would win it, but best compact sub 6" has got to be the s10e

I have an s8 at the moment and I looked at the honor 10, it looks like a great phone but specs are similar to what I have already.
It's a shame because I fancy something different but all the great new phones are maaaaasive
Mrswitch keeps tempting me with the Huawei phones but they all seem to be phablet size

Yes, the size war seems a bit pointless without the choice for people who something pocketable. Anything over 5.2inch 16:9 (not sure what equivalent size is for 18:9) isn't totally necessary, and can just make pocketing it too hard. I'd have liked my Nokia 7 Plus just as much with a slightly smaller screen if not more.

Yeah it does seem pointless so many similar types.
The thing putting me off the s10e is the battery.
Maybe I should wait till next year, they might realise there's a gap in the market for decent small phones
