You just did - sort of.
I thought the Blackberry O/S was dead and buried... Surely there are no Appstores or Updates to the O/S

Battery says upto 25Hrs! Thats a bit limiting!
BlackBerry OS? Why bother?

Yes unlocking is cheap - but Telephones Online stuff is always excellent and I have had nothing but praise for them.

Still - it's only a phone!

Thanks for that. I was not aware that apps for "Other" places can be sideloaded.
You can install Amazon App Store on these from the blackberry world App Store.
So you can have easy access to the apps (less than google play) on there.
Be warned though that this phone is pretty sluggish with many apps.
As a well built compact pocketable phone with online access it serves the purpose, but loading eg Spotify takes ages and the phone does not have google maps or any other apps relying on google services, which are not included in the blackberry OS.
