This is hot from me, as it has the 3000 series GPU. My work laptop costs significantly more than this, but only has the 2000, which isn't really up to the job, especially with only 4GB of GDDR.

Quadro RTX 3000 is equivalent to RTX 2060 or 2070 for gaming.

Super solid machines, they are not lightweight but the chassis is thick aluminium and magnesium, looks and feels premium - much better thermals than the Precision 5500 series (the XPS 15 clones). GPU should edge out an RTX 2060 Mobile in gaming but has the professional features as well. Fast 8-core CPU that should still be up to task today.

Will the i5 one be alright for web searching and excel/word processing?

This would be overkill tbh for that use.

Was you not able to return within the 14 days stated?

Got an i7 with RTX 3000. Definitely overkill for what i need it for, but great price. According to this FAQ, the Precision 7550 is supported with Windows 11.

That’s a shame. I got the i7. Get one the price is outstanding.

Refurbished used to be old returned machines and on average had been used for 3 years, typically back from being on lease. Is that still the case?

I think if you care about these things then refurbished is not for you, should just go get a new one

Only the 7550 i7 available, is it worth the punt? (I have absolutely no idea regarding laptops and computers). (edited)

Code is invalid, is there any other code available?

There is no other code I'm afraid

There's only one item left and the code works on that.
