Been after a replacement for my broken Iphone 7 and decided an XS Max is the one for me. Can't afford brand new so refurb makes it affordable for me. Using the ebay code PAID20 you get 20% off up to a max of £75 making a refurbished grade A iphone xs max with 256gb £470.
Colour choice is Gold, Silver or Space Gray.

For less you money you can chose a lower grade refurb or you can scale down to the 64gb version for sub £400.

Just click on the link and play around with the options.

Seller has just under 50k reviews 100% of which are positive.

Not sure why payday 20 came up in the code box. It should state what I typed in which is PAID20. Mods can you please amend.
Also get 1 year warranty with the product and 30 day returns which seems to have disappeared from the discription.
These will be Japanese market phones with loud shutter sound and also might be out of warranty, and warranty offered by hitech is worth nothing at all. Bought 2 phones from them last year and both has been returned as had slight faults and one had 415 charge cycles done with battery health at 82%. Long wait for refund both times. I would never buy from them anymore, too much risk and hassle...
How many of these refurb deals are actually refurbished?
Do they really just mean second hand?

They probably just mean 2nd hand in good condition. When the one I get arrives I will review and let you know if I can see any signs of refurb or if it just 2nd hand.

That's unfortunate. I have ordered one in the past with no issues but I may have gotten lucky. Will comment further when the one I have ordered is delivered.
These are not only second hand, but almost all faulty too. Bought iPhone XS from them, and phone intermittently was losing sim card, with message "no sim card" and only full reset was fixing this for couple of days. Then same problem again.. another phones wi-fi was playing up...I would advise to stay clear from them. Don't be fooled with 100% feedback, looks like they do fake sales and rises feedback.

Is it free returns and do you have to pay for postage

Yes it is, but what a waste of time and wait for money 17 days. You have better chances with Gumtree than with hitechelectronicsuk.

Ok then I'm not going to bother buying it from this company. I don't want the hassle of return and refunds. Thanks for your honest feedback, much appreciated

Code should be PAID20 not the payday code.
I bought an XS last week from Loop Mobile on eBay.
Ordered ‘good’ condition, unlocked, 256gb in grey.
Turned up within 48 hours in absolutely mint condition.
Not a mark or scratch on it anywhere.

Paid £427
I too wouldn't touch hitechelectronics with a barge pole. The 12 month Warranty they offer is worthless beyond the period of eBay buyer protection/PayPal protection as there is no way of getting them to honour it. They will use every excuse imaginable to squirm out of warranty claims/repairs. I bought a Google pixel grade b on a previous deal which stopped working after 6 months they refused to repair due to there being a couple of cosmetic scratches on the case (present when purchased and not connected to problem with phone). They still haven't returned phone to me and ignore all messages. Avoid at all cost..
Thanks OP

Agree, The 12 month warranty from any eBay means nothing including well known retailers. I bought a Dyson hair dryer from currys. It stopped working after 8 months. Sent three messages to Currys, no response. Biggest issue is eBay removes all record after 6 months and PayPal offer protection after 6 months...So in summary don’t trust any seller offering 12 months warranty

Yes, I'll not bother either. Was tempted to buy one for my wife whose 6s is showing it's age.
And the O2 "llike new" Sony Xperia 1 I bought for £199 a month ago is now showing a SERIOUS fault.

My Grade A 512GB just arrived. No box or plug but did come with cable and a free power bank (portable charger). 94% battery and no shutter sound on the camera.

There are some slight scratches on the screen but the rest of it seems in good condition.

It’s certainly not in as new condition...
