Won't matter much, even if it does. The HDR performance of a TV like this won't do 10 bit justice.
OOS.
Yeah not a bad price for an ambilight!

I don't want to keep switching modes on the sky q box when using projector which is why I asked. I am in the unusual camp of valuing rhe 4k resolution over hdr so the hdr performance does not matter much to me, more the fact that I will be able to set the sky q box to 10bit and then just not touch it again.

Makes perfect sense sorry I can't help answer though.

It doesn’t mate. Tried loads of different configurations but it does look superb.
Got this TV and this is incredible value. Looks great with all the current tech. Xbox one x, PS4 pro, sky Q and Netflix UHD. Have the new LG oled and although this has the better picture, I still actually love this TV. With the amberlight setup with the extra hue lights, this TV stands out and always gets many compliments.. Best TV for the cheapest price.

Thanks. What is your output set to then? For example i am watching the cricket on my projector right now and have manually set the sky q box to 10 bit. Sky q allows 8 bit or 10 bit. Moot point as i have ordered tge tv already. Annoyingly though they have taken the money out even though weeks to arrival. AlSo COME ON ENGLAND!

8 bit. Sky complains if I try 10bit and reverts to the 8bit setting.

Awww. I am in two minds now. I am inclined to keep as the ambilight and 4k and 65in screen are a killer combo.

Interesting …Interesting read....https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Archive/Sky-Q-not-accepting-10-Bit-UHD/td-p/2905021

Yep read and tried it all. If I were you I'd set sky to 8bit and see if you can notice a big difference on your projector. If you can't, get the TV.

I picked one up for 599 new from Amazon a couple of weeks back replacing my 13 year old pioneer plasma and am very happy. Great TV and loving the amiblight. Will be looking for some bulbs to sync with it on prime day.
Bit off topic but any gurus know why my new sky q no longer works with my HDMI splitter? Hdcp version?

What's the catch with these, always see them cheap but everyone says they're great? Reliable? Just the brand?

No catch. For the money nothing comes close. Add in the immersive Ambilight & it's a win win
Out of stock(devil)
The odd thing about this tv is that hdr is available on ports 2 and 3 but arc only on port 1. Stupid. I have one hdmi to my receiver so i have to make do without arc. Unless I employ an hdmi splitter? No that's stupid
I swear this has been this price new on here

Possibly the 55 inch , no chance for the 65 inch.

First time dealing with them. Asked them to.call asap but they did not. I was a bit impatient and frustrated so i cancelled the order altogether. Refund being processed. As they acted promptly I will not be giving them poor reviews as planned.

Just got off the phone with them, their solution was to try and upsell me on other products at ~£600+ trying to get me to pay the difference, gone with a full refund instead.

Thanks for update. I suspected that is what they would do so I didn't bother. Did they at least offer you a 10 quid discount?

No discount offered, no real apology either. When I queried about getting a discount on another item they said that it was against their terms.

Sorry i mean 10 percent like in the oroginal order
Problem is that in the last few weeks have missed a few good deals.
May just wait for black Friday deals now.
I agree, I had exactly the same thing. I was furious with them. Not interested at all. I was told “It’s in the terms and conditions” so I could only get a refund also no compensation for money lost taking time off work because that was in the terms and conditions too.
Went to Richer Sounds and bought it there with their standard 6 year warranty. Ok I did pay more.
