i can only go off my experiences with them which have been positive, DHgate has bad reviews but my orders arrived fine, Bangood has bad reviews and again my orders were fine. I could give a bad review about vodafone though after a terrible experience with them, all companies will have bad reviews but you can only go off your own experience with them.
it isnt hard to find these reviews about any company,
Thanks for all your opinions guys but I would rather buy one from somewhere i could drop it back on their desk if there is a problem even if it does cost a bit more. Can't imagine getting a refund from these foreign places would be anything but a nightmare in most instances

check T&C's as most places get you to send it back to the manufacturer these days, shops etc are just middle men.
when we had an issue with one from Argos they gave us Honor's contact details and the phone was only a few months old

Thats very naughty of Argos though as you bought it from them you had a contract with them therefore its up to them to sort your repairs. Martin Lewis is always saying this

i agree and i stated that but they (even the manager) said its there T&C's and wouldn't budge, i guess its the same with currys if your tv breaks etc hence buying from anywhere is no different than buying local in a lot of cases. Although buying from China is more risky

Don't believe the T&Cs can trump law though?
