No idea what A2 will be like but I have a 2017 model and they are really nice, bit slow responding off the remote but the picture quality is great and I can feed Atmos to my receiver via ARC. Currently only useful when you have Netflix I know but I do :-)
Not bad for the £. Personally I'd just pay more for brand new.
Nearly pulled the trigger on the one from JL but for £600 cheaper it would be rude not to.
Delivery on Monday. If the "minor dents and scuffs" are too bed, back it can go.

Let us know what it's like spongefactory.
Risky with oled, could be ex display and been showing the same content for hours on end

It could, but 14 day return policy so if any issues, back it goes so low risk (other than my initial £25 delivery fee).
Wonder if this will turn into the same fiasco as the last LG OLED deal from this company?

Hopefully not. I've had them on the phone already for a security check and confirmation of delivery Monday.
I've got an a2 - had a few minor scratches on the back, screen is immaculate
1 year warranty, bit risky. Ide rather pay more for new with a 5 year warranty. Plus the c8 is getting close to £1600. Buy from JL and get a price match.

1100 Vs 1700. That's more than 50% more. Will take my chances...
So far so good. Arrived and unpacked and screen looks perfect. Couple of minor marks on the back of the screen which will conveniently be against the wall. Will do some setup and suchlike later.

Not a mark on it. Very responsive menus and blown away by the image quality. Last TV was a 55 LG 4K UHD (not OLED) and this is a huge upgrade.
in two minds with this, I want a 65" and I was thinking of getting a Qled but this falls into my budget. Worth a risk being refurb?
Appliances direct... Never again. Ages to pickup phone. 1 month going to return a faulty item
