That was a Black Friday deal at £99 new

But Grade B at £99 today is a decent price. Especially compared to G8 power at £219

Its all your fault then
Prefer the G6.
Thanks Switchy. How does this compare to the already posted Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) 4GB 64GB @ £83.97 which is new and also has a 5000 battery?

Think I'd prefer the G7.

I am in no way biased(G7 owner )

thanks a lot. That's a helpful website! If you can suspend your innate bias(!), do you still prefer the G7? If so, why?
Better battery life on the G7,reading online reviews the Asus has poor battery life for the size of the battery.
The G7 is from a UK source so is more likely to get warranty support even though it's second user.
Marginally better software support from Moto.

OK, thanks. One plus for the Asus is Snapdragon 636. Moto has 632. But your point about the stronger battery is strong.
Battery king almost undisputed

Usually the lower processor means better battery life, just means Asus optimizations are poor

Almost

My previous phone was a Lenovo P2 and that was better than the G7.
Sadly it died a dishonourable death whilst charging

It’s the battery king out of the phones still being sold - the realme 5 series with a 720p screen and 5000mah+ battery matches it or even beats it
