Gran Turismo Sport : Day One Edition £36.80 @ Tesco

Tesco in Clacton have discounts on several recent PS4 releases including Gran Turismo Sport Day One Edition, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and Assassins Creed Origins.

These games can be found at reduced cost in a crate at the end of the video game isle.

I believe they are reduced because the disc is loose in the box.

Nearly all of my brand new games come with the disc loose in the box. Thought it was normal

This is the method I use to put discs back in place without breaking the seal, if any help?

Not even worth £3.60 according to a lot of reviews,I don't know why games developers are obsessed with making them online games when there's thousands of gamers who just want a game to play on their own or with friends at home

This is cheaper at simplygames, so why posting yellow sticker deal from tesco ?

Nice deal GTSport is the best example of what online racing should be but be warned of you're into single player and starting at the back and winning the race is not going to happen in this game, everything is geared towards teaching and making you learn each corner of every track in order to race online, like it or hate it that is the main focus of the game

Just about any game I buy from shopto has the disc loose., except pre orders. Figured they got them cheaper.

When I played the demo i found an online game, but then had to do warm up laps for like 10minutes before the actual race started. Is this the norm or is it alot easier to actually get into races?

Beautiful game. Found it better looking than the new forza, in cockpit view. Outside of that though it falls apart a little...the cars have a weird 'stuck on to the road' look to them. And that online race track that came with the demo looked like it would have been more at home on the PS2. But the handling is still sound, and a (small) step ahead of the competition.

Enjoyed the demo, but little content, waiting to see how much free dlc appears,if it goes like pcars with extortionate prices then will give a miss.

In sports mode there's a choice of three daily races for different classes of cars with either a short 2 laps race, a medium 4 lap race, or an 8-20 lap endurance race, each race has its own schedule so a short race will run at maybe every 10-15 mins whilst an endurance race runs maybe every 30-60 mins, you don't have to do qualifying laps you just need to know what time a race starts and make a race entry. It also have regular online lobby's where you can create or join races like any other racing game.

I use a wheel so I never use the outside view but from what I've seen its rigid like Assetto Corsa which looks strange but I think that has to do with handling because if you've got a floating camera it means you're not directly behind the car and the driving on the correct line is vital. As for the track that came with the demo you must be talking about the speedway and that's not PS2 graphics that's just silly... What about Interlagos with full pitstops and a busy put lane which was also in the demo was that PS2?

Online is a huge step ahead of the competition as I've also got Project Cars 2 which can't compete with GT Sport online, sure single player Forza and PCars 2 are better but that's not what GT Sport aims for, it's a different game.

No, just speed way (the long wait put me off trying online more than once). And that track looked terrible...bare in textures and lighting. Going from the single player tracks to that probably didn't help either...but speed way really stuck out like a sore thumb in classic GT cutting corners and porting over from yesteryear.

Glad to hear there's normal online racing too...bit of a big ask to play the game by somebody else's schedule.

But you can race in the online lobby just like any other game without waiting, the online lobby in GT Sport is the same as playing Project Cars 2 or Forza or any other racer online, the sports mode having set race times is no different than what DriveClub done where you had to make a choice and wait for the race to start, but instead of waiting you're qualifying to move up grid places.

Love this game. 👌

Still £34.99 at Simply Games...

Years waiting and they make a game 98% online. Hopefully the 30% drop in profits will end this art project!
