Still the best one, in my opinion. At £5.99 I had to indulge.

None of the Pre-GTA IV games have not aged well at all.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. The graphics may have aged, but the simplicity of the game play actually works in its favour. I think a lot of games from the ps2 era have aged pretty well, IMO.

Classic!
Oh, and the cheat codes work...
Has this been upscaled for ps4 or isit the version That's always been downloadable from store?
GTA IV graphics are unbearable for anyone who has played V...
III should be 1.99
I'd recommend getting the GTA trilogy instead, but still a fantastic game. Can't believe it's 17 years since it was release. Oh, the nostalgia.
Great game, was the beginning of something amazing but I'm not sure this is much of a deal. On the fence with this one

I thought it looked like real life when it first came out. Looks awful now!
I give up. A prize for those of you who can decipher my previous message. The posting and editing of comments on his website are atrocious really.

This means they have aged well then
Vice city was the game changer for me, the colour, the music, the cheese!!
Vice City is also £5.99:

store.playstation.com/en-…001

Or you could wait for the Trilogy (III, Vice City and San Andreas), which is regularly on sale for £11.49.
I replayed all three from the PS2 era last year on PS4, think I bought them in a pack for about £15. They're some of my favourite games ever so I still really enjoyed them but I think they might be best left in the past for most people. 3 is incredible for how revolutionary it was, SA is technically the best, VC probably the weakest of the trilogy for me but still great fun.

Vice City "the weakest"?. Somebodies not fond of the 80s.

I'm with you on this one... The gameplay is excellent.

I enjoyed it but there were a few reasons why it was my least favourite. It was the shortest and had the smallest map, and the business part of the game felt a bit forced to me. I liked the imagery but it couldn't carry the game on its own for me. I'll always be biased towards 3 because it was the one that changed video games forever, in fact I'd go as far as to say that I'll never experience those feelings I had when I first played it with any other game. San Andreas was technically better in every way so it's hard to argue against it being the best in the series.
Ima ride till i cant ride no more, burn till i cant burn no more, shine till theres no shine no more. Till the earth cant turn no more its the royce 5 no more, im da game!!!
GTA 3 was the best of the trilogy for me, going from 2d to 3d was amazing for GTA and hooked me immediately, it's scary to think that was nearly 17 years ago as it doesn't feel that long since 2001
Aw, I remember playing on my cousin's PS2 and being blown away by GTA 3. Just the fact I could drive around a 3D city and being chased by the police. It was something special. San andreas is my favourite game of all time and IMO the best GTA game. Just the scale of the game with the three cities and Officer Tenpenny (Samuel L Jackson) such a brilliant antagonist.

The PS4 version has always featured upscaled graphics.
Played this through recently on PS4 and while the controls aren't the most refined I think it still holds up pretty well personally.

Always get people tell me I look like Claud speed (protagonist) in this. Call me mad but I much prefer this to San Andreas simple is sometimes better. Anyone seen the gta 3 rage classic on you tube???? Looks amazing

If you bought it on PS4 then yes. All of the PS2 games on PS4 are displayed in HD.
