Can I ask a silly question: is there a way to play PS3 games to PS5?

Unfortunately, the only way is by subscribing to PS Extra or Premium depending on what you want to play, which isn't exactly the cheapest thing in the world.
On top of this all PS3 games have to be streamed and cannot be downloaded to your hard drive, something to do with the fact that the PS3 disc were made in a different/awkward way. So unless Sony really knuckles down on a solution (they won't) the unfortunate best way to play PS3 games...is to buy a PS3 Slim.

To overall answer your question though, yeah you can but with the ridiculous pricing and the forced streaming, it's just not worth it. When streaming there's a system in place that if you're idle for like 10-15 minutes, it just boots you out of the game, and you can forget playing anything if you don't have a decent internet speed. It's just all around bad tbh (edited)

Guys I need urgent help, I ordered this game and it arrived today and quickly installed and started playing from GTA 3 and graphics were immaculate and extremely fun and I was well chuffed.

Next thing, my TV screen started fluctuating with lines in the middle and went dim and few minutes later tv went off and on and after that it never came on. I mean what the hell!!

I’ve got a Qled Samsung 50” Tv bought it in 2021 so just over 2 years from Very I think. It was over £800/£900.

I changed the TV power cable with a similar 3A plug, changed extension socket etc.

I am losing my mind here. Sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking / sharing this info.
