I remember when there was supposed to be story dlc, then rockstar got greedy.
I am seriously worried about Red Dead Redemption 2. Hate what GTA V online has become.

Cold
RRP and all you get is microtransaction stuff, no thanks
£60 for a 4 (3 if you count current gen) year old game? No thank you.

What is this ?

Is this 4k enabled for the Xbox 1x
Bit cheeky to charge £60 for a coming on 5 year old game!
I'm a tiny bit confused. The intention of this release is to replace the (as we knew it) standard edition. This is now the version of Grand Theft Auto V that is known as the 'standard edition' with Rockstar recently telling retailers to clear through old stock.

Is this a placeholder by Game, or is GTA V now a £60 title
Wow
I think i'll pass

4 year old? Surely it's longer than that
If they threw in an 8mil shark card, I’d be tempted, but Jesus Christ what a rip off - this combination was selling for cheaper in digital sales at Christmas. Why bother releasing this

I don’t think people will buy this game a 3rd time
oh my rockstar, tut tut TUT
FREEZING COLD
I swear GTA V came out in 2013.
Cold, £60 for any game imo is ridiculous

Release date: 17 Sep 2013
Cold as ice!

All the dlc is free to download, you just need a regular copy of the game.

That starter pack is way overpriced too. 1 mill cash will get you f all

No Rockstar are more concerned about adding cars that cost £12 each. Then allowing PS4 Pro/XB1x owners to have a nicer looking and/or better performing game.

Terrible deal. All of the content can be downloaded for free with a base copy of the game. The only real difference is the GTA online credit, which in turn won't last very long.

Cold.
god of war or 5 years old game? just kidding
33670939-yBQc1.jpg
OP how did you think this was a good deal lol
£59.99 for a game initially released in 2013? The price of this game would cover my daily commuting costs for 3 weeks, that’s how expensive this really is.
Definitely cold. Though it's not marketed at us. It's for the teenagers that get their clueless parents to buy it.

Can't see any content that's free on psn store?
Kford1984 - The DLC is just an update, it will not be on the store. Just when the game updates, it is included with that. This is a terrible deal IMO as everyone says £60 for a game that is nearly 5 years old (September)

It's not a dlc, it's bull...t marketing for a regular update thar everyone gets.

So potentially this is just game making up some bs product and pricing it themselves? Throwing in what is most likely a download code in the box for the starter pack

Yeah, I was aware of it's release mate. What I was saying is that this is now the standard edition of Grand Theft Auto V - the pricing doesn't seem correct in terms of the recent reports I've read on it. Also, AFAIK it's not exclusive to Game.
£60? Thats £20 more than the RRP!!!

I don’t think it is going to replace the standard edition. Game are saying the physical edition is exclusive to them so it’s safe to assume that here in the UK that it is. The same edition is also on the Playstation store for £74.99 with the standard still being available. I think the idea behind this edition is if you bought the standard edition at around £25 and paid £40 for the online starter, this edition would save you a fiver. (Which is just a terrible saving)

It’s been announced as being $79.99/$84.99 in America too. dualshockers.com/gra…on/

Those early reports were incorrect I think. If they’re not, then Game has secured a limited time exclusive.

Have you got a link to the store version? Is it a pre-orders because it doesn't release digitally until next week.

Ignore the latter, clicked the link.

Oh no. Make no mistake, this is Rockstar trying to milk the cow that little bit more and Game (knowing how well this title sells) has secured an exclusive on this edition. The pricing is $79.99 in America too (which was previously $59.99).

It will be a code for the Criminal Enterprise Starter pack in the box too. It’s a rip off but GTA Online has always been just that.

This is what I refer to... Kokatu

In our initial report, we stated that the new version of the game would not be announced until very close to launch, so that older versions of the game had time to be cleared from store inventory.

It seems our report was correct, because GTA V: Premium Edition has just been announced by Rockstar, and is appearing in some physical retail stores as early as today, with digital releases happening early next week. It's the same game, at the same price, bundled with all existing DLC and the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack.
