Grand Theft Auto V - PS4 - £29.99 at Argos

Found 8th Aug 2016
Seems to be the cheapest available for a brand new copy of the game.

Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4 with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail, as well as an immersive first-person mode. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar Norths epic reimagining of Southern California.

There's been a few places advertising around this price. I chose Argos purely because it was available for local collection and the store is only a short walk away. Heated

How is this game holding it's value so well !!

I just went for the Playstation Store offer with a $1,250,000 shark card for £34.99

It's such an immensely popular franchise and a highly rated game, it has a massive online community and still sees regular updates (to the online side at least, wish they would do some new SP content) from the developers. Think I'd be more surprised if it wasn't holding it's value!

You see this with other popular franchises too like COD, not to mention most Nintendo games....

Gamestop (£29.97) & Smyths (£29.99) also have it around a similar price.

My earlier comment was a bit tongue in cheek. I'm not sure £30 for this can be considered a deal, can it? Although I fully appreciate that my feelings may be because I feel the game is utter...well, you know

That said, and my personal feelings aside. Grand Theft Auto V has just returned to the top of the UK charts 151 weeks after it's release.

Well £30 is a bargain compared to the £50 I paid for it :P I still like it, I just think that the online is really becoming money grabbing, like who pays £100 for an ingame boat?!
Think Shopto have a part in that...£31 for the game, strategy guide and 3.5 million dollars
ridiculous price now for a 3 year old game!

The amount of content added to the online mode over the years is impressive to say the least; I think this is the only reason why it seems to hold it's value so well. That and well, the fact that this mainly appeals to the "younger *cough* generation" ...

Traded my physical copy in for nearly £30 the other day, so only cost me a fiver
Yeah it's quite crazy how people have been getting between £20 and £30 for their second hand copies
I posted this 3+ months ago at £29.99 and went cold lol strange! Brilliant game though
Sad because this is selling so well it has made Rockstar so greedy and complacent.
