i wouldn't say tremendous, but fun all the same, you should try it sometime

If they manage to squeeze San Andreas onto my phone I would be so happy

Nice, nearly paid full price yesterday. I know the control system is gonna be gash though

Was awesome on PC back in the day. Really looking forward to downloading this on the pad.

This was when Rockstar made games fun rather than visually stunning.

It's now £1.49 on Google Play* but still hot hot hot! One of the best games ever for less than a Costa!

*Edit: I see both versions, both by Rockstar Games, Inc. (one is £1.49 and the other £1.28), however I think the cheaper one might be for the German market as its unique name is com.rockstargames.gtavcger and says "This item cannot be installed in your device's country". You can probably get around it with a proxy but I was too quick with the buy button to notice (_;)

My fave GTA. It's the 80's Miami Vice thing, music, Tommy, dang I should go play it again.

Loved this game, played it for hours & hours & hours of freestyle driving, riding & helicopter flying oh the fun!!

Finally, first android price drop for this game.anyone know if this game cloud saves as I want to pay on multiple devices

Got this recently for nexus 7. Works with a controller connected but not as good a conversion as gta 3. Steering is really stiff and double tap of run makes Tommy jump which gets in the way. There's also problems with aiming sometimes lock on stays on and you can't lock off.

And no billie jean!

... Still essential though for this price. I was happy paying double for it

Is there a Bluetooth controller for this game on the ipad yet?

It isnt necessary on an iPad. I hate touchscreen controls, but they actually work really well on a decent sized screen.

Also, hot for the iOS version.

Had it just been Android, it would have been cold due to how poor Rockstar are at supporting newer devices, and even ones that have been out for ages.

For example, GTA 3 was available on my Note 10.1, yet wasn't (and still isn't) available on the S3. When one of the worst selling android tabs made gets it over the most popular android phone ever, you have to ask questions.

Dammit. Paid £2.99 back in March. Definitely worth buying. Kinda surprised how easy it was to finish GTA 3 and Vice City though.

Anyway to buy it from GooglePlay even if my current phone can't handle it? Xperia S

It says it's compatible for the XperiaS in the GooglePlay description, however comes up as "This item is not compatible with your device".

Unless they have fixed it, which i doubt, I would not even bother with it for xperia s, works untill you get in/on a vehicle then crashes.

You're right, seems it's still version 1.03 which i believe is the version that gave a lot of people problems when it was first released. Surprised it's still the same iteration.

didn't like the controls on 3 but worth it for the price for when my phone will finally sort itself out with pairing the ps3 controller!

Gonna wait till it hits 69p

Still saying my tab2 10.1 is not compatible

Still the best GTA game so far. Well worth it at this price.

wtf I've just bought this for 1.49, now it says its 1.28? i know its only 21p so not a huge deal or anything, but what the hell? **** google

Been eyeing this up for ages and have finally succumbed! so far it's working perfectly on my HTC one! just a shame you can't change radio stations, or am I missing something? controls are pretty good too!

Will the Play store let you install the cheaper one?

You're missing something. When I was playing on my iPad I could change radio stations by swiping on the bottom left of the screen where the radio stations pop up (I think)

Yeah the soundtrack was the best part though I believe some songs are not in the mobile version. What I liked is having songs I actually know... not just random non international friendly American names.

Got the others, the controls let it down badly, even on an iPad with a large screen it never clicks.

As we all know gta has some tricky parts, I never got that far through but couldn't imagine me trying again and again let down by the controls and camera angles, I'd need a new iPad.

Is it just me or was there more levels on the console edition?

Either that or I spent way too much time on this as a child

I got GTA 3 on my s3 and have only played it once. Due to the poor touch controls I can't bring myself to play through what is a clunky gaming experience. Maybe I am just getting old.....BUT I'M NOT. Well.....I am.

Was waiting for that to come down in price. It's £1.49 on Play Store not £1.28.
Thanks!
