Seems to me to be a list of almost half decent or second string wines. Not hot or cold really.

IMO all of these should be at the £4-5 mark anyway.

I never trust so called Marlborough Estate wines from supermarkets unless I know them.

Not voted.

I just wish supermarkets would charge the actual prices for wine rather than constantly rotating the offers.....again not really hot or cold

Nearly all the non-European wines in the offer are UK bottled. This is the sort of garbage that used to be 3 for £10. Usual Sainsbury/Tesco rip-off with joke prices quoted for single bottles.

I think that tony_s1 is absolutely right.

A lot of OZ/NZ/Californian wine is transported by the tanker to the UK and bottled here - this is a very cheap method of buying wine by the bulk, but at the cost losing character and taste.

Always check th label, it normally states where the wine was bottled - you'd be surprised.
