Be careful what you wish for. The alternatives to palm oil are even worse for the environment. All these so called environmentalists who think they know best always create other worse problems than they solve. Just look at what is going on with diesel etc. I have no problem with Palm oil. The issues are more to do with where they are planting the trees not the actual Palm Oil itself. As a product, it's fantastic and efficient. This demonisation of Palm oil is totally dumb IMO. It's not an intelligent approach to a problem. It reminds me of the demonisation of MSG, which again is totally dumb and not based on science/facts but on media and fake news.

The problem I have is that the farmers shoot the orang-utans who are trying to travel through the plantation to other areas of rainforest. I try to find products without it or that use sustainable palm oil.

It looks like Graze exclusively use sustainable palm oil, which afaik makes your objection redundant.

How does sustainable palm oil help with the orangutan issue?

The sustainable mark wouldn't be applied if they were shooting them I believe
It won't allow you to checkout unless qualifying order is over £20. I have tried Subscribe & Save but cannot checkout for some reason. Soon as I add anything that makes the order £20 or over, the Checkout button is visible.

This is bang on - media are misinforming people again to create PR

Not all S&S items work that way. I have been able to buy add on items on S&S in the past without the min £20 spend required.

Title needs to be amended to reflect min £20 spend.

That's not at all how S&S works, there shouldn't be any minimum spend for add-on items! Something's going wrong here... Make sure you've ticked the 'Subscribe and Save' option, rather than adding to basket. Then choose your quantity and frequency of delivery, and click 'Subscribe now.' There shouldn't be any 'check out' button unless you've added them to basket as an add-on. Just worked for me on the app.

Honey and oats are also the same price now.

Not to do with it being unhealthy - palm oil plantations are mostly grown on slashed and burned former rainforest in south-east Asia, destroying vast swathes of irreplaceable habitat for animals like the orang-utan, which are also directly killed in the clearance process. The demand for cheap palm oil in the rest of the world is driving this. The WWF have a page on it worldwildlife.org/ind…oil and there's a short video here if you're interested. youtu.be/LSu…zdU

The problem isn't some whacked-out conspiracy as a few uninformed people on here have suggested. Fortunately as someone said the palm oil in these is sustainable, but many still try to avoid it where they can.

It definitely wasn't working earlier. I spoke to Amazon CS about it and they also had the same issue. Perhaps they have corrected it now after I complained!

Most weird... Maybe they have, thanks if so! You could try the honey and oats variety too.
