Have been following these for a while now but never bought as already had higher end boards and just needed cheaper for a child so ended up with Lidl one.

If you want to ask any questions or check build quality I'd suggest joining the owners club group, I know some people have had issues with parts of the board coming apart or the paddle, so it's worth finding out what they thought of the customer service facebook.com/gro…are
For the money they seem like good boards - the most stable is a questionnaire claim, at this price range maybe the Red Paddle co boards are hard to beat but much more expensive

Also check out the other size and style boards they have available to suit your needs.

Thanks for your feedback this is my first post I actually bought the 12 foot as well for a little more but they are pre order only right now till feb reviews are great on amazon which is more independent check out the 15ft price too the value is excellent here and the stability is of as good if not better than the red protest and Hatha in my option having rented all of them. You get a free go pro or electric pump thrown in as well! Should have mentioned that in the deal

I have the red co 10'8 at 15psi and it's stable as heck, I wouldn't change it. My previous was a SHUBU slightly smaller dimensions, not much cheaper, but not as stable.

The electric pumps are a you god send, just have spare fuses for your cig lighter lol some don't like them
Can anyone in here check out this from two bare feet, which ive been thinking if getting. It's on offer at 275, or with kayak seat for 315.

This bluefin looks slightly better, 6" thick over 4.75, better bag, higher psi, free electric pump for £332
Any advice would be great

I see you're in Wales? Check out Escape Watersports in Pyle if you are after any PFDs, they have a sale. Got my NRS overhead there for SUP, less bulky than my zip through, easier for getting on the board in deeper water. The water shoe options are great too!

I've watched these too and again seem good for the money.
Generally the bigger/deeper/wider the board the more stable, but it's also then heavier to carry and you have to work harder to paddle at any speed and turn.
You need to buy a board to your build requirements.
Most boards will go to higher PSI but generally most will suggest 15 as the optimal PSI.

TBF also have the larger dimension 10'10 - do some comparisons, work out your needs and look at reviews.

Can't comment on build quality of other as have never seen them physically

You need the leash, bag etc but question whether it's worth the extra for kayak seat, will you actually use it?

Thanks. It's for my wife. She's only 9 Stone (ish) so weight not an issue. Probably doesn't need the 6"board. I just want to get the best quality possible for the money and not have to buy another a couple of years time

I always say with these, buy the best you can afford taking into account how much you'll use it, as you get what you pay for build and quality wise.

If she's small she won't need a big board, anything too wide she'll struggle to paddle if she's shorter.
Where possible try some out first at a hire place.

If you have a bit more cash to splash check out the smaller Red Paddle co and Jobe boards.

She'll benefit from a lighter carbon paddle too which makes for easier paddling.
A PDF life jacket is a must, again best to try some on. Less bulky makes for easier job getting on the board in deeper water and pay for quality.
