I've been looking for a good contract offer for the iPhone 6 plus and found this one through Uswitch.
It's for a 128GB iPhone 6 plus with unlimited minutes and texts and 20GB of data a month. No upfront cost for the phone which is great. Network is EE. Next day delivery but gonna have to wait till Friday now.

Not bad deal for a bendy phone, size, data storage, EE network, but £58 per month, are you mad?

Must be a sign of getting old!

Hahaha! I thought it was new years eve, not april fools day! £1392 over 24 months?!

This should hopefully plumb the depths of the coldest deals seen this calendar year!

£58 quid a month for a phone?? I think im getting old too.

£1,415.76 total for iphone 6 plus ???

Antarctica cold from me....homeless people can live on the £58 for a week or more....happy with my 5s. Iphone 6 no chance

Just pure robbery

Does seem a lot but doubt you will find 20gb data with unlimited mins and texts cheaper. I just wouldn't go on EE

Wow.

Quite funny...

Or ...

Buy iPhone 6 128GB for £789.00 Brand New From Apple

Buy Three Contract: Unlimited Data, Unlimited Texts And About 300 Minutes For £15 / Month (£360 for 24 Months)

= £1149 For 24 Months

And thats with unlimited data! I'm afraid its cold from me. Even £1149 is way too expensive for a phone.

Plus Apple are doing 0% finance at the moment

I would have gone for that but my credits not too good at the moment so probably wouldn't have passed the credit check. Renewing with EE so that was no problem for credit check with them.

So what's a better deal with no upfront fee for the phone, with the same minutes texts and data, that doesn't require getting credit, and that's not on the 3 network as the signals no good where I live. Neighbours who have 3 end up stood in the street trying different positions to get a signal.

Just as I thought. No suggestions.

I have paid less for a car. Then again that was last century. Obviously I don't understand how Apple hypnotise people into giving away their hard earned money.

just as a suggestion, you could probably cut this cost drastically as ee will give you a bonus 10gb of mobile data if you take their home bb.

personally, I wouldn't pay the premium for iphone and find it impossible to regard them as good value.

This isn't that bad. £25 (based on the deduction of the new cost of a 6 Plus) a month for 20GB - which includes the ability to use tethering with the whole amount. EE reception is far better than Three. wouldn't pay this month for a contract myself as I would feel more comfortable buying the phone upfront and having lower outgoings every month, but if you can afford it, this isn't a 'rip off' as such. The cost of a 30 day SIM only on EE would be far more than £25 for this amount of data. Unlimited it isn't, but 20GB is a whopping amount of data and EE have a huge amount of bandwidth compared with Three, who rely on the paltry £250,000 worth of spectrum they paid for.

Nothing against Three as such, but saying their £15 deal is wholly better than anything EE - or anyone else - offers is overlooking a few critical factors.

Neither hot nor cold from me.
